Hey guys, I'm sorry this story has been dead for so long. I really would love to finish it, but every time I've tried to go back to it, I've had trouble with it. Honestly, it's so close to being finished that I need to suck it up and do it. I promise it won't stay dead forever.
I've slowly been rewriting Ultimately Unlucky. The first part is completely rewritten. The second part has been going much slower because I've had more ideas for it, so some things have been changed and new stuff has been added. Because of that, I won't start posting a rewrite for that until it's done. I'll probably post it all at once so people don't have to wait for chapters to come out.
I've also been working on rewriting Amusement Park Interlude, a short story focused on Luciano. I'm posting those parts as I finish them. I've included a short preview below! I'd love it if you checked it out.
Special Preview of Amusement Park Interlude Rewrite

In one gulp, Casey downed the last of her drink. Ava still had a little under half of hers left.
"You good if I go get another one?" Casey asked. "Do you want to stay and dance or come with?"
"I'll stay and keep our spot."
"Kay, I'll be right back!"
Casey skipped off towards the bar. Ava continued to sway as she took another sip of her drink. She didn't drink as fast as Casey. It was harder for her to completely let loose considering on every other day of the week she usually was involved in the fighting, so she had to have her guard up. As she placed her drink back down, she began humming along to the song.
"Fancy seeing you here, ragazza~"
"...!"
The voice was right behind her...and unmistakable. She flipped around to face him. Sure enough, Luciano was standing directly behind her. Her and Casey had been so lost in their own world that they had both missed the fact they were being watched by him and Flavio for some time.
"L-Luciano!" She exclaimed. "What are you doing here?!"
"I'm here with mi fratello. We've been watching the show."
"Show...?"
"The one you're putting on in that cute little outfit," he smirked, tugging on one of the corset strings of her shirt.
Her face flushed red as she took a step back. "Not funny. And it isn't nice to just sit back and stare, for that matter..."
"My apologies," he chuckled. "Why don't I join you then?"
He took her hand and suddenly twirled her around. Since she wasn't expecting it, he had to catch her when she was thrown off balance.
"You did that on purpose..." she glared up at him.
"I have no idea what you mean, ragazza."
"Ava?"
She turned her head to see that Casey was back, and for some reason, she was grinning ear to ear.
"Sorry to interrupt. Who is this?"
She wanted to say that Casey's interruption was life saving, but he spoke before she could.
"Luciano. It's a pleasure to meet you."
"I'm Casey. Do you and Ava know each other?"
"As a matter of fact, we do. I saw you two dancing and wanted to say hello. I was just telling her how beautiful she looks."
