02 | Misunderstand

Finally Krishnan too agreed to marry my sister Anjana. Me and my parents were happy about their marriage. 

It was decided to conduct their wedding in the next 2 months. Although in our custom, the entire wedding expense is borne by the girl's side, Krishnan suggested strongly to share the wedding expense.

He and his family did not want to have an engagement. But I insisted strongly to have a small engagement in our house. 

I don't want to eliminate any celebrations of my only sister. Anjana and Krishnan got together well. They started talking and chatting for a longer time.

Sorry.. it is always my sister who talks and poor guy Krishnan who always listen. In  a way I felt happy and relieved. My sister Anjana is very talkative. One should have patience to always listen to her talks.

In my house it was always me who listens to her patiently. Now with the arrival of Krishnan, I have got some free time. Anjana does not pester me with her talks. 

She has now planned for an outing with Krishnan in beach. Although I am quite hesitating to send my sister for outing before engagement, I still agreed as I find Krishnan to be a responsible and sensible guy.

Still as a brother, it is my duty to warn Krishnan to take care of her and behave properly with her. 

We both went to the beach and were waiting for them. I wanted to drop Anjana and leave once Krishnan comes as I have some work to do and meet people regarding the engagement.

Anjana dialled Krishnan twice, but he did not pick the call even after full ring.

"Anja.. may be he is driving .. let's wait . don't call him now"

"hmm ok na"

We both were waiting for them talking about some random stuffs. Anjana the talkative person is also a open mouthed girl. 

"oh you know what ? Sandhya is also coming. I told her about me and Krishnan meeting in the beach"

"why does she want to come as a third wheel?" I queried her

"pcch.. what is this na? why do you say like that about her? its not like that . I casually suggested her to come with us and she too readily agreed"

She continued, "in fact you are also now with me.  Is it not third wheeling?"

I gave a cute glare at her and knocked on her head without paining for her. " I just came to drop you and will leave once Krishnan comes"

While were talking, we saw Krishnan and Sandhya in the bike. We waved our hands at them to indicate the place where we are standing. Sandhya was the first one to notice us and gave a smile.

Krishnan's eyes went back and forth between Sandhya and us. They both were talking something. Krishnan was often looking at us and Sandhya and seemed to be interrogating her. 

What is it that these best friends always have something to discuss in hush hush manner? I wondered.

They came in front of us. I greeted Krishnan and we had few words. Sandhya was conversing with Anjana, but her eyes wandered on me once at least for a minute, which I could feel.

"Krishna.. I have an urgent work to go for and was waiting for you... if you don't mind.." I dragged.

"no problem.. I will drop Anjana at her house" assured Krishnan.

"thanks.. " I  said and was about to leave.

"dude.. if you don't mind, can you drop Sandhya near that XYZ shop.. She came to do some purchase here." Krishnan asked me.
