Chp 27 A Family Picnic

It was a Saturday meaning there is no school today along with his mom being off for the second time this week which Mason is glade for and so his mother decided that today would be a good day for family bonding and so they all decided to go to the park for some a picnic and to just enjoy the scenery. They all had stuff pack up and ready to go but Mason just couldn't leave Ghost behind by himself he needs fresh air, the sun, to move around, and especially used the bathroom Mason went down to his room and into his lair where a happy wolf pup runs to him wagging his tail out of pure excitement. Bending down to pick up the excited pup who was now licking his face Mason chuckled at his dog and starts walking up to the stairs when he made it to the door he looked to see two shock faces his mother was definitely not please with what he has in his hands while his sister was excited hell she practically sequel in excitement.

Mia: *squeals* oh my gosh! oh my gosh! he is sooooo cute what's his name? can I pet him?

Mason: *smiles* yes you can pet him but let him sniff your hand first and his name is Ghost.

While Mia was petting the wolf pup his mother looked at him with a stern face and with her finger she motion for him to come near her so he gently places Ghost in Mia hands as he wines Mia his petting him trying to calm him down while Mason went to talk with their mother.

Maria: Mason why is there a wolf pup in our house? and where did you find him at?

Mason: I found him during one of my walks as I went by a alleyway I heard whimpering so I checked it out and saw him near his dead mother and a bunched of knocked out thugs and I couldn't just leave him there and so I brought him home to bathed him, feed him, and give him some water. The next day I took him to the vet got him all his shots and a check up so please mom can I keep him?

Maria: *sighs* fine Mason you can keep him but you better take care of him where is his leash?

Mason: it's in my hands.

Maria: fine let's go to the park ad have a good family picnic.

The family would all enter the car Maria allowed Mason to drive to the park about an hour later the family finally made it to Central Park Mason grabbed all of their picnic supplies while Mia grabbed Ghost leashed and Maria grabbed her bag. And so the three walked until they found a good spot in which each one placed down all the necessary items onto the soft blanket they had placed on the ground. Mason took off Ghost leash allowing the small wolf pup to run around the park and play with the other dogs Mia and Maria was having a nice conversation about mediocre things and girl stuff that he didn't care about. But he just sat there with a smile plastered on his face honestly this is why he does what he does to see people not worrying about any crime happening or getting mug, rape, or worst though he must admit it sometimes does get difficult and lonely doin it all by yourself not to mention much more dangerous. But Mason didn't care just like he promise he will die for this city and will always protect his family even if he had to kill everyone in the universe to do it even if Darkside, Joker, or even Reverse Flash shows up he will kill them all without any hesitation. Getting out of his deep thoughts Mason saw a familiar red hair girl jogging on the sidewalk when he saw her he felt a weird pain in his chest it was...weird nevertheless he decide to join her so he got on his feet and jog up to her while the redhead wasn't paying attention Mason grabbed her shoulder making her jump and scream. When she turned around she saw who it was and just punch him in the shoulder which didn't hurt at all by the way making the teen boy chuckle at her.

Mason: hey Lucy didn't mean to scare you that bad.

Lucy: yeah whatever why are you here anyway?

Mason: me and my family are having a picnic so I see your out here jogging why's that?
