It was summer, finally in Montana- music festivals, rodeos, Woody and Jessie's favorite things to do, during the Summer was to go to the Rodeo. This time. they were not ust going, Woody was going to be apart of the Rodeo. "YeeHAW! Darlin, get in here!" Woody exclaimed. "What is it Woody?" Jessie asked. "I got in the Rodeo!" Woody exlcaimed. "Woody, that's wonderful." Jessie said. "Darlin, you like you to come with me?" Woody asked. "Woody, of course I would!" Jessie exclaimed. "Open that box on that there table." Woody said. "Okay." Jessie said, as she grinned the biggest smile, like a little girl who got a horse for Christmas. Woody saw the expression on Jessie's face. "Oh Woody, I love it!" Jessie exclaimed. "Try it on for me." Woody said, as he caressed her face. "Okay." Jessie said, as she ran to the bedroom, to try it on. "Woody, come look." Jessie said, peering her head through their bedroom door. "I'm comin' darlin." Woody said, as he got up from the chair. "Oh darlin, that fits you so well." Woody said, as he spun her around. "How do I look?" Jessie asked. "You look beautiful." Woody said. "Thank you Woody." Jessie said. "Dance with me, right here in the hallaway." Woody said. "Okay." Jessie said, as she came out of the room. Woody put on a slow country song.
"Have you heard of this called "Baby Until We Met?" Woody asked. "Who's it by?" Jessie asked. "Cowboys In The Sunset." Woody said. "Remember this song?" Woody asked, as he turned in the record player, with the album 'Cowboys in the Sunset'. "Oh this song, yeah I remember it, this played at our wedding." Jessie said. Woody nodded and smiled. "Yes it did darlin." Woody said.
'Til the time
passed I see you
til we made our eyes lock in that bar
Baby until we met
I was a wreck
your heartbeat syncing with mine
Baby until we met
you made everything better.' Woody sang to her.
Jessie looked at him, with tears in her eyes. "Oh darlin, you're remembering tht night we met in that bar, when Buzz, was really starting to become an asshole." Woody said. Jessie began to hyperventlate. "Whoa whoa, Jessie, hey it's okay. You're having a panic attack." Woody said, as he stopped the song. "Jessie, you're okay darlin' it's okay. Woody's here baby, shh it's okay." Woody said. "Com'ere, dance with me." Woody said. lifting her up in his arms. "I'm sorry Woody, for crying." Jessie said. "You're apologizing for cryin'? Hunny it's okay, we all, well that's an understatement, but some of us, but you darlin, Jessie, you're my everything." Woody said. "Woody, you're so sweet." Jessie said. "Spin me around baby." Jessie said. "Of course darlin, com'ere dance with me." Woody said. As they danced, Woody undid the braid in Jessie's hair. "Your red hair just does something to me." Woody said. Jessie smiled. "That's my baby." Woody said. Jessie looked at him, "Oh Woody, I love you." Jessie said. Woody smiled at her. "I love you more." Woody said. "Jessie, my baby, you're amazing dancer." Woody said. Jessie giggled. "Thank you so much Woody." Jessie said. "Anytime my darlin." Woody said. "When is the rodeo?" Jessie asked. "A few days after tomorrow, I would think, lemme see your laptop hunny." Woody said. "Okay." Jessie said, as she went to the bedroom to get her laptop. "Here you go Woody." Jessie said, as she handed him the laptop. "Thank you darlin." Woody said. "Lemme see when is this rodeo, July 5th through the 10th." Woody said. "The 5th through the 10th?" Jessie asked. "Yes ma'am." Woody said. "That sounds like a date. I love it." Jessie said, wrapping her arms around Woody. "Oh my darlin, you wanted me to hug you." Woody said. "Yes Woody, because I love you." Jessie said. "You said it darlin, you said those three little words." Woody said. Jessie smiled at him. "I love you too darlin, forever." Woody said. "Forever is never enough, Buzz never understood that. Baby, Buzz was never good to you." Woody said. Jessie smiled. "Why did you even end up with him darlin? Buzz is a space ranger, you're a cowgirl. Bo was a cattle rancher, but she was still a cowgirl, remember when you helped me with the horses, and Bo was there helping us?" Woody asked. "Yes." Jessie said. "Darlin, you're with me, you're safe, you're here at your real home." Woody said. "Space was not my home, at all. I was homesick." Jessie said. "Darlin, you're a country girl." Woody said. "You're right Woody." Jessie said. "I'm a country girl, and a cowgirl belongs with a cowboy, not a space ranger." Jessie said, as she wrapped her arms around Woody. "My cowgirl is back." Woody said. "Let's go change my name legally." Jessie said. "Let's go darlin." Woody said. "Jessie, I never told you my last name." Woody said. "What Woody, my love?" Jessie asked. "My last name." Woody said. "What's your last name?" Jessie asked. "My last is Carson. Woody Carson and my cowboy nickname is 'quick trigger'
So my full name- Woody 'quick tirgger Carson." Woody said. "So that means- my last name will be changed since I married you." Jessie said. Woody nodded. "Got that right darlin." Woody said. Jessie smiled. "Let's go change your last name." Woody said, as he grabbed his keys to his truck. "Let's go darlin." Woody said, as they locked the door of their house. "I'm nervous Woody." Jessie said. "Darlin, why? You're finally getting your name changed, after been with that space ranger who never cared about you." Woody said, holding her hand. "You got this darlin." Woody said, kissing her lips. "Okay, I married a cowboy, and I'm a cowgirl. I'm your cowgirl, and you're my cowboy. " Jessie said. "That's my girl." Woody said, as he backed his truck out of the driveway. "Where are we gonna go to change my last name?" Jessie asked. "To the courthouse down the road here." Woody said. "Okay." Jessie said. "Okay." Jessie said, as she turned the radio on. "Cowboys in the sunset is playing on the radio." Jessie said. Woody turned up the radio. "That song I played you yesterday." Woody said. Jessie leaned to rest her head Woody's shoulder as he drove. "Aw darlin, you're so beautiful." Woody said. "You're so hot." Jessie said. "Jessie you know I know Spanish?" Woody asked. "You do?" Jessie asked, grabbing his hand to interlock her fingers in hers. "Yes." Woody said. "Say something in Spanish to me." Jessie said. "Okay." Woody said.
Te amo mi amor." Woody said. Jessie's eyes got heavy, with tears of love. "Oh Woody, that was lovely." Jessie said, as she smiled. Once at the courthouse, Jessie got nervous. "Baby, you're fine amor." Woody said. Jessie smiled. "Okay, let's go get this sorted." Jessie said. "Let's go." Jessie said. "Okay, you're okay baby." Woody said. Jessie nodded. "Howdy ma'am." Woody said. "Woody, good to see you again, been a long time since you stopped by here." Said the lady at the front desk. "Yes, it has been a long time, I'd like to introduce you to my wife. Jessie, she is here to change her last name." Woody said. Jessie was ready to have her life back with Woody. "Jessie what was your last name before?" The lady asked. "I never really had one, I did have a fake name- which was Jessie Ranger." Jessie said. Woody cringed and smiled. "She married a space ranger, before I went to find her and get her back to me, and she never liked her last name, it was not her style." Woody said. "What my husband said." Jessie said. "Okay, so you want to change you last name to his?" she asked. "Yes." Jessie said. "Alright, what do you want your new last to be?" she asked Jessie. "Carson. Jessie Angela Carson." Jessie said. Woody smiled. "your middle is Angela?" Woody asked. Jessie nods. "Yes, you love it don't you?" Jessie asked. "Darlin, I love it, and I love you." Woody said. Jessie smiled. "When did you get married to Mr. Carson?" The lady asked. "Since the fall of last year." Woody said. "Yes." Jessie said. "Okay, have you had any other afillitation with Mr. Lightyear since then?" The lady asked. "No, from what me and my husband know, is that he is jail for life." Jessie said. The lady nodded. "Alright, your name is now changed to Jessie Angela Carson. All you need to do is look over it and make sure everything is right." The lady said to her. "Everything looks right." Jessie said. Woody smiled. "Alright, now we need to make your new Id card, to have another form of verifcation when you go out." The lady said. "OKay." Jessie said. Woody smiled. "Darlin, you did the right thing." Woody said, as he held her in his arms. "Thank you so much, for everything." Woody said to the lady. "You're welcome Mr. Carson." Woody said. Once Jessie got her Id card, she was all set to go. "Thank you so much, for everything." Jessie said. "You're welcome Mrs. Carson." she said the lady. Once in the truck,
"Yeehaw, darlin I'm so proud of you." Woody said. "Woody, I'm so happy." Jessie said.
"Let's go out tonight." Woody said. "To celebrate?" Jessie asked. "Yes." Woody said. "Okay, this is outift okay?" Jessie asked. "Yes, darlin, anything you wear is okay." Woody said. Jessie smiled. "Woody, Buzz never told me anything like that." Jessie said. "Darlin, I'm sorry, you had to go through all of that just so he could not love you, because deep down he knows I love you." Woody said. "I know Woody." Jessie said. Woody rubbed her back. "Have you been to The Flashy Horse?" Woody asked. "No. I've never been." Jessie said. "You're in for a sursprise." Woody said, interlocking his fingers in hers. "Have you been there?" Jessie asked. "I've been there a bunch of times darlin, I always get the western lager, you gotta try it." Woody said. "Is it good?" Jessie asked. "Darlin, it's amazing." Woody said. "Okay." Jessie said, smiling. "Okay, let's go to The Flashy Horse." Jessie said. "Yeehaw!" Woody exclaimed Jessie smiled. "This will be our first date for the first time." Woody said. Once at The Flashy Horse, the bartender greeted Woody, and saw Jessie. "Howdy Woody, who's this lovely lady?" he asked. "This lovely lady is my wife, Jessie Anglea Carson." Woody said to him. "Howdy ma'am nice to meet you." The bartender said. "Nice to meet you as well." Jessie said. "Come in, come in." The bartender said. Woody and Jessie walked in the bar. "My husband recommended me to try the western lager. "Jessie said. "Yes, he loves it, I think you will too Mrs Carson." said the bartender. "Okay." Jessie said. "Okay Woody." Jessie said, as she sat down next to him. The bartender, then brought out the Western Lager. "Holy shit, that's good." Jessie said. "I knew you love it." Woody said. "Woody, it's so good." Jessie said. Woody smiled.
