After the whole fiasco, the party was cut short with Emmett and Rosalie helping Jasper hunt to ease his control, knowing he needed it after being so close to tasting human blood again after decades of avoiding doing so.

Edward knew with how close Jasper was to having human blood in his system it would take some time to get his tolerance back to where it was before so he took it upon himself to take the girls home especially because the last thing he wanted was to put them in danger again that quick in the night.

The drive seemed so long with the silence that was running through the truck.

Adelaide begged to be away from the silence either by sitting at the back of the truck or even walking home anything that didn't have her sit by the couple who seemed to need a talk though of course knowing they were both still in danger with Victoria Edward disagreed immediately.

Though once Edward stopped the car Adelaide made her way out of the truck wasting no time rushing up to her room letting Bella and Edward say what they had to say.

Right before she left the Cullen house she left a note in Jasper's room hoping he would see it.

Adelaide felt as if the two, or Jasper at least, would want to discuss the situation or at least just be there with each other but in the meantime she decided to clean herself up seeing the stains of blood and tears on her dress.

Fortunately for the two best friends Charlie had gone to the Reservation to spend time with Harry and Billy because if he hadn't the two would have been questioned on their current state.

Adelaide knew Jasper must have been feeling some guilt for what happened even if both Bella and herself assured him knowing he wasn't at fault the guilt may still hold on tight.

She knew his story but she just hoped Alice had at least helped him see it wasn't his fault for any of that.

Adelaide had been so proud of the golden haired vampire he had been doing so well on handling the scent of blood, even if it was a whiff of it, and while they had their close encounters Jasper had taken all his strength avoiding any sort of situation.

After getting herself a bit more freshened up Adelaide walked around her room waiting for her boyfriend checking the windows making sure it was unlocked, though she knew it would take a while for Jasper to build up his tolerance it didn't ease her stress enough.

Adelaide sat on her couch trying to calm herself brushing her arm moving her focus to something else but every inch of her mind had taken her back to the memory that showed itself to her.

That voice seemed so familiar almost as if she was able to hear it again she may be able to place a finger on it but the more she kept thinking about that voice about the situation they were in, the anger built up in her.

Her emotions were tying back together.

She focused on that anger shutting her eyes doing her best to bring back the memory hoping that she would be able to place a face on the voice but each moment passing the anger only grew.
