Bella stood there enjoying the warmth of the sun soaking on her pale face as it would be her last time with the heat in a long time. In her hand she held a small cactus trying to keep her reminder of Arizona. Adelaide on the other hand could worry less about the heat as she read through her books standing next to Bella.

Behind the two were Renee and Phil were packing the girls bags into the trunk.

This was the day the two girls would leave Renee and Phil to go to live with Charlie as they wanted Renee to finally live the life she had wanted with the man she loves who wanted to pursue his dreams.

"Oh, I'm going to miss my girls!" Renee brought the two into a big tight embrace as she began to tear up. "We will miss you as well, Renee." Adelaide chuckled lowly, hugging the older woman back seeing her tears.

Renee continued to hug them but soon Bella headed over to Phil to bid a goodbye whereas Adelaide and Renee stayed at the same spot.

"Adelaide, I know I'm not your mother but. . ." Renee started off as she stroked her hair back. "But you love me as if I am your daughter." Adelaide softly smiled knowing Renee very well.

"Yeah." Renee smiled as she stroked the young girl's hair. "Renee, you have taken care of me for so many years and so has Charlie and neither of you two had to do any of that but you did." Adelaide smiled, closing her book as she spoke to Renee.

"My parents are very thankful for what you two have done and so am I." Adelaide smiled as she hugged her journal. "I just feel like I'm saying goodbye to two daughters." Renee smiled with tears which she tried to keep in as she wasn't much of a crier.

"And I feel as if I am leaving a great mother figure." Adelaide smiled bringing Renee into a hug knowing she needed it. "Ah, you are making me feel!" The two chuckled at the girl's comment as they detached.

"Well, you're a teenager so you better expect to feel more emotions than you know how to handle." Renee told her as she pointed at her with a playful serious expression. "I do not really believe that but let's see how it goes." Adelaide chuckled as she brushed her hair back waving off the comment.
