As the day passed by and evening came, I found myself standing in the middle of the city mall, along with Scarlet.
I didn't feel like doing anything, but Scarlet convinced me that a little shopping and some self pampering is going to help with my mood.
Though I wasn't willing to come, I didn't want to turn her down. She has been with me the whole day, making sure I was doing fine. And she didn't need to do that.
She is Damon's friend. We have met just a couple times and yet she is being so supportive. So, just for her, I agreed to this idea of shopping.
But now, I don't feel that good about it. Scarlet brought me to one of the most expensive malls in the city and almost every other thing here is out of my budget.
"Stop overthinking Lia. Today's shopping is on me. Buy anything you like and I'll pay."
She told me and I was about to deny her, when she stopped me.
"No. Don't you dare say no. I am not going to listen to any of your excuses. Now go and start with the shopping already."
She slightly pushed me towards the clothing section. Sighing defeatedly, I moved forward looking for something that suits my taste and still comes in budget, while she went towards a different section.
