LOVE INTEREST: Open for certain male characters. For a potential love interest type, I was thinking either a misguided "bad boy" with good intentions or a geeky and genius guy character.

PERSONALITY AND CHARACTER ANALYSIS: Genevieve Phoenix is a person with good intentions, but because of the pressure that is put on her by people around her, she does not always make the best decisions. She cares a lot about her reputation, which is understandable, except when she sometimes prioritizes it over being a good person. She acts confident and is very friendly, but deep down, she is extremely insecure. It takes a lot to get her to open up, but when you touch her heart, she never forgets you.

CHARACTER ARC SUMMARY: Genevieve Phoenix has it all. The perfect family, the perfect friends, the perfect life. She is one of the most popular girls in school, she is a loyal member of the county's best cheerleading squad, and she has won homecoming queen three years in a row. She should be happy, and she seems happy because she has it all, right? Wrong. Genevieve hates the attention, she only joined the cheerleading squad to impress her overbearing single mother, her father has been absent from her life for as long as she can remember, and winning homecoming queen only led to ridicule from her jealous schoolmates. However, she has learned to accept this way of life and is living the dreams of everyone around her, rather than the dreams that she has for herself, which include joining her school's Spelling Bee team and attending college on a basketball scholarship. (Her character arc is subject to slight changes)

Possible story idea: What happens when Genevieve falls behind in her Mathematics class and endangers her spot on the cheerleading squad?
