Chapter Four ~ Intimidation Tactics

Tsukasa's POV:

Stress? No, this was much worse. I had to practice for auditions, keep up in school, AND somehow know Rui's bullies off his back? Listen, when I said I wanted to try and open up, this is not what I meant!

I'm currently at home, finishing up that assignment from earlier when I get an idea.

Best way to lighten my load? Get rid of the bullies. And I had a plan. First, I need to get the two most intimidating people I know to help me not get pummeled. Then, I'll go up to them and confront them, make them feel stupid for picking on my enemy, and hopefully they'll stop. I was probably making this sound easier than it actually is, but I think I can do it!

And step one...figure out who the two most intimidating people I know is...

Ah! Akito Shinonome! I see that nasty bruise he gave Toya that one time...and I'm sure those bullies did, too. He works out and definitely looks intimidating! Also, he owes me. Toya would beg for Akito to help me if I asked him to, and Akito wouldn't be able to say no. He can't say no to Toya.

And the second...Emu! She doesn't look intimidating, but she is when mad! She once hug-tackled me in the hallway and brought me to the ground. She also beat me at arm wrestling...but that's embarrassing! And if I tell her that those jerks were bullying someone, she might take them down, too.

Great! Step one done, now we have to get these two to agree to the plan!

As I walk towards Akito in the hallway at school, I'm starting to regret this a little...

Akito was the most fond of me, and he thought I was obnoxious. But when I turned the corner and saw Toya already speaking with him, I knew this was going to be a piece of cake. I come up to them with a bright smile.

🌟: "Toya! Akito! How are you two?"

Toya smiles softly as he sees me, and Akito just rolls his eyes.

☕️: "Tsukasa-kun! Did you need something?"

🌟: "Actually, yes! Can I borrow Akito at lunch time?"

Akito visibly tensed up and shot me a "what the fuck" look, while Toya looked, understandably, confused. Well, if someone asked me to borrow my boyfriend, I'd probably be a little more than confused.

☕️: "Borrow...?"

🥞: "Toya tell him no. He's not borrowin-"

🌟: "I need him to intimidate some bullies of a friend. They called him the f-slur."

I have never seen Akito and Toya go silent so quickly. And after a moment, Toya gave Akito this look.

☕️: "Aki..."

Akito returned Toya with a reassuring smile, before looking back at me.

🥞: "You better buy me pancakes for this..."

☕️: "Akito."

🌟: "I'll throw the pancakes in for free."

Akito smiled, before turning back to Toya. Toya sighed after a second, before giving me a wave goodbye. I waved back, before heading off to find Emu. She wasn't hard to find, and I braced myself for a moment before stepping up to her to talk.

🌟: "Emu! Hey, could you help me with something at lunch? You know Rui? I made a deal with him and for my part I have to get some bullies off his back. Could you help...?"

The tiny pink haired girl gave me a happy smile for a second before nodding.

🍬: "Yes! Anything to get you two together!"
