Erica's pov
"Erica!" Ponyboy knocked on my door yelling my name. I opened the door.
"Yes pone?" I asked tiredly
"Come on school is about to start!" He spoke
"Shit!" I cursed I am in pink sweatpants and a black tank top and a black bonnet. I took my bonnet off and fluffed my hair up. I ran to my room and got Jeans, my red bra, a white shirt, and a leather jacket.
"Come on!" Pony yelled walking into my room.
"Pony I have no makeup on" I argued
"You look beautiful without it now come on" he argued back
"No I don't I need makeup pony I will go in late you can leave" I sighed
"What do you mean? You are the most beautiful girl I know" he said grabbing my arm and pulling me out the door. My face heated up as he said that.
"You mean it?" I asked
"Y-Yeah...you are" he blushed. "Listen I know we have been best friends since before we could talk or walk and I don't want anything weird to happen between us...but I dig you" he looked to the ground. "A lot" he whispered. I stopped walked and grabbed ponyboys hand
"I dig you to" I giggled
"Ya do?!" He asked and I nodded my head. "Sooo will you be my girl?" He asked
"Yes!" I yelled and hugged him. He looked into my eyes and the world seemed to stop. We both leaned into each other out lips meeting each other. The kiss only lasted around 8 seconds but it felt like a lifetime. As we pulled away all I could do was smile. We walked hand in hand to school in a comfortable silence.
