Mila pov
The sunshine went through my window waking me up. I got out of bed slowly. I put on my black baggy jeans, a white tank, and my red leather jacket. I fixed my curly hair that had red streaks in it and left my small trailer. I walked to the gas station to pick up a coke and a pack of cancer sticks. When I got there I saw the whole gang here.
"Hey guys" I said grabbing a coke walking up to the counter.
"Mila! Is my nose big?" Steve asked
"Yes" I spoke grabbing a pack of cancer sticks
"Told you so" Ponyboy mocked Steve making me laugh. Soda rang up my stuff. I payed for it with the cash I got from baby sitting.
"You look nice today Mila..." pony spoke
"Thanks horse boy...you do to" I smiled. He blushed at the nick name.
"I was wondering if you would like to watch the sunset with me?" He asked
"Yeah I'd like that" I smiled
"It's just us though" he spoke up
"Sounds great" I said with a smile
"Like a date" he said
"Like a date" I smiled at him
"Cool" he smirked. I kissed his cheek and he looked like a tamato. I walked out of the DX and to the park. Soon Ponyboy came and sat by me.
"The sunset is beautiful" I smiled looking at him
"It is..not as beautiful as you thought" he put his arm around me. I was speechless so I layed my head on his shoulder as my face burned up. We watched the sunset in comfortable silence. The gold glowed on our faces. He looked majestic in this lighting. I was so distracted I did not notice how our faces got closer and closer till our lips touched. It was the perfect moment. After a few seconds we pulled away. People say nothing gold can stay, but our love will. Our love is gold.
