"Where were you?" A voice asked as the living room lights flicked on. Her heart froze.
She had expected something like this to happen and what ever he had coming for her, she would take it with open arms.

"I was at the study session." Han-eun answered carefully. She was simply making matters for herself even worse because she knew her father knew she was lying.

"Want to try again?"

"I was out with a friend."
She suddenly felt a stinging pain settled on her right cheek. Tears stung her eyes.
"What friends?" He demanded.
"What for?" He added as he slapped Han-eun right across the face once more.
The girl stumbled backwards and hit back against the wall.

Han-eun managed to open her eyes and her mother, Han Sol, enters the room and sees her daughter in distress but keeps her head down and tends to her husband.
Han-eun's father shoves his wife away and attacks Han-eun once more.
He pulls her hair and knocks her against the wall. Causing Han-eun to let out a distraught cry.

"Answer me!" He practically yelled at her.
Han-eun whimpered as her head throbbed agonisingly.

"Because, she didn't have transport to go home."

"How is that your problem?" He asked again, his hand fisting her hair and yanking her head back earning a cry from the younger.
Han-eun kept quiet and took his beatings.

Regardless of the unpleasant aftermath of disobeying her father, Han-eun was content. She was in intense pain but everytime Willow flashed in her mind, all that seemed to dissolve away.

Han-eun collapsed on her bed with her whole body aching and tears streaming down her face as her body tingled in pain.
She slowly closed her eyes and passed out. Trapping herself in a endless cycle of nightmares.

Han-eun shuddered and whimpered in her sleep. She felt like she was reliving her dream. She felt his hands roam her body and his hot breath against her neck.

With sweat beaded on her forehead, Han-eun woke up breathing heavily. She looked over at the night watch on her lamp next to her it was 1:56 a.m. She wouldn't be able to get any sleep after this.
She reached over to grab her sleeping pills which, most of the time, did not help.
Her medication made her antsy everytime she took them. All jittery and taking a shower often calmed her down.

She shoved a few of them in her mouth without any water. With a sigh, she crawled out of her bed and went to her bathroom. Han-eun was glad she had an ensuite bedroom because if she did not, Ahn Sunho, her father, would so much more harm to her than a few punches in the gut.

She turned on the shower tap and once the water got warm enough, she slipped in and let the hot water hit her back.
She fisted she hair and she let out a sigh of relief.
At some point in her life Han-eun justified her father's actions. He was fixing her. She was an abomination. She chose to tell her father that she likes women and not men.
She shouldn't have told if she knew he would harass her that way he did for the past five years.

As for today...
She had never enjoyed being with someone. She felt like she was herself. Even though she and Willow barely knew each other. Han-eun couldn't accentuate it enough to express how good she felt around Willow. The way Willow looked at her and blushed made her body heat up and her heart skip beats.
Willow's voice sounded sweet even though she barely spoke. Han-eun understood that. Willow wasn't very trusting of people and especially Han-eun who is "friends" with the people that make fun of her.

"Why would I ask her to be my friend." Han-eun groaned punching the glass window of her shower.
Willow had gracefully declined but she did say she was going to think about it.
What will happen on Monday? Will Willow approach Han-eun and tell her she'd like for them to be friends?

"No she won't." Han-eun answered out loud.
"I'm so stupid to think Willow will want to have a friend like me." She mumbled under her breath as she stepped out of the shower carefully so she couldn't slip.
