Prologue

Becca's POV

"...It's easier for you to let me go." -Arms, Christina Perri

I stared out at the Ocean. I picked up a few of the pebbles on the London beach and remembered the bottle of them I had in my room. Dan had filled them up for me so I would remember our first date.

Our first date...

I bit my lip so I didn't cry. His voice rings in my ears and I look out at the waves. I remember him telling me goodbye, I remember crying for months, I remember Phil comforting me, it was all too much. And now he can't even call. It's been a year and not one call. I pulled out my phone and sighed.

This would be call 184...
And it'll be my last.

I dialed his number I knew from heart and pressed the phone to my ear. Of course he never answered it and it went to voicemail.

"Hey it's Dan, sorry I missed your call, I'll get back to you as soon as possible, just leave your number and all that. But if you're a fan I'm sorry but this is not Dan Howell"

Beep!
His fake Russian accent at the end gave me a headache from listening to it so much.

"Hey Dan, I knew you weren't going to pick up, like I do every time but I just wanted to tell you that this will be the last time, I uh, look Dan I know you've wanted me to do this all year but I'm giving up. You're all famous now and you don't need me or Phil, so I just wanted to tell you goodbye. Congratulations though, you finally got out like you always wanted to. Have a good life Dan, I-I love you...Phil says h-hi."

I ended the call and wiped my tears away. Fuck you Dan Howell. I stood up from where I was sitting and stared out at the sunset sighing. I dusted off my jeans before starting to walk home.And when I got home I threw the bottle of pebbles into the trash.

A/N: So this is the prologue for the new story yay cx!! I'm not going to say this story is based off the song Arms because I found the song after writing this but it will be mentioned a lot. So this is my first Dan fanfiction but I hope you guys like it, also there will be some Phil action lol, and just little cute things and also...Jack Howard :D if you don't know who that is...he's amazing Dan and Phil are in a video of his and yeah...look him up...he's the one vacuuming in the gif lol, but if you do know who that is...he is in here, somewhere, somehow...so I hope you like this story I have high hopes for it cx like a comment and stuff please it help a lot cx -Tati
