Chapter Twelve

You know when a girl from a little town gets to go to L.A or something like that and there looking out the window in amazement? That's me right about now.

The hot weather and the palm trees and the up beat music, yeah everything.

I hear Dan chuckle and look at me.

"You reacted like I did."

"I can imagine", I say in awe.

"If you think this is amazing, you should check out his house", PJ says smiling and I smile looking at them and start filming the car ride.

We start going up into the mountains and then the house starts to come into view.

"Oh my god", I say in awe.

A huge house with half the house made of glass and balconies. The two stories towers over the terrain even though it's in the mountains.

"How do you afford this?!"

"Good investment of money", Dan says smiling looking at the house.

"And Tessa's parents were awfully generous", PJ whispers and I giggle.

Dan glares at us and I just continue to chuckle.

We pull up to the gate and Dan puts in the code and the gates open as I watch.

He drives into the place and then into his garage where we get out.

Dan unlocks the garage door and we step in and I'm greeted by pure beauty.

"Oh my god I'm in love", I say looking around and PJ laughs.

The kitchen is filled with all the necessities needed to cook a grand dinner, something I bet Dan has never done in his life. We continue walking into the living room front door area and I look around again. A grand piano stands in the corner of the room and straight ahead is a glass Arcadia door leading out to the beautiful back yard. Further on to my right a doorway opens up to a lounge area with two huge flat screen TV's that Dan says one is for TV and the other for video games.

I look around until I flop down on one of the extremely comfortable lounge chairs. "Oh my god", I say again. "It's nice huh?" PJ says. I nod once again and he chuckles.

Dan comes in then and looks over at the two of us

"So Becca, I don't have a guest room so you'll have to sleep on the couch if that's okay?"

"No she can sleep in my room I don't mind", PJ says.

"Oh no PJ don't, it's your room I don't mind sleeping out here, this might as well be my bed."

Dan chuckles before looking around.

"You really like it?"

"Yeah I do", I answer.

PJ gets up then leaving me and Dan by ourselves and he looks around awkwardly. He rubs his face and winces hitting a bruise on his face I assume. He curiously presses on it and winces again.

I stand up and push his hand away scolding him.

"Dan it's not going to get any better with you pressing on it."

He glares at me playfully and I smile lightly.

Then I blush noticing his hand is brushing up against mine.

I look down and watch his fingers twitch as he thinks whether or not he should grab my hand before his fingers curl around mine.

"I'm glad PJ brought you", he says quietly before I hear someone clear there throat.

We step away at least two feet to look and see it's PJ.

He smirks before setting my bag down.

"You can put this up in my room in case Dan has guest", he says.

I nod blushing and he takes me up the stairs towards his room.
