I was at my friend's house a few nights ago. We were walking home from her neighbor's and we are about to walk up her driveway. I look straight ahead and I saw a dark figure pop up on the sidewalk and started sprinting past the side of her house and into her backyard. Seconds after, a police siren started and sped down the street.
"Did you see that?" I asked, pointing to where I saw the figure.
"See what?" She asked, confused.
