CHAPTER SEVEN
A Witch Never Spills Her Secrets

Rosa, still in astral projection, walked to crouch down in front of Wanda to look her in the eye. "Rosa... I am... I—"

"I should be apologising to you. I betrayed you, alongside my mother. I lied to you the entire time I knew you and Pietro." Rosa said.

Wanda let out a shaky breath. "I shouldn't have tried to hurt you. It's not what P—"

Rosa rested her hand on Wanda's face, neither felt a thing, but it was the action. "It will be okay." Rosa assured her.

"I know what I have to do." Wanda said. She used her magic to fly over to where America was originally.

"What now?" America asked Stephen.

"Get out of here. Both of you."

"We'll find you." America said to Stephen.

Rosa took a look at Wanda, whispering goodbye. "We have to go. Now!" America said to Wong as she opened a portal.

Rosa's eyes opened, and she was no longer in that sanctum.

In Kamar-Taj, everyone was chanting in Mandarin as they were practising. Rosa smiled, leaning against the wall beside Mara.

"Hey, Rosa..."

"Hey, Mara..." She replied in a similar tone.

"Now, I know you might not want to wear it, but I made a suit for you. Come on!" Mara announced with excitement, dragging her by the arm to another room. Mara opened the closet doors and brought the suit out. "Go on! Try it on!"

Rosa snapped her fingers and her outfit changed immediately. She looked in the mirror. It didn't feel quite right though.

"Oh yeah! Right. Almost forgot the most important part." Mara said, waving her hands to summon the blue jacket.

Rosa turned to look at it and she smiled. She grabbed it, putting it over the black suit. It was similar to her other one she had, but it had blue spirals trailing up the sides like magic with a hood attached. She smiled at her blue jacket, the one Pietro gave her. She adjusted the jacket with a smile as she continued to look in the mirror.

"And of course, you wouldn't be a hero if you didn't have your animal sidekick!" Mara exclaimed, summoning Skit, Rosa's cat. "I love that he has a natural blue patch around his eye, it's similar to your powers. Sometimes at least."

Rosa summoned a magic swirl, and the violet hue was all gone. It was just blue. She grinned. "Wait, did you just say hero?"

"You deserve that rank." Mara told her.

Rosa scoffed, turning away from the mirror. "You know, maybe someday, the Syndicate will reunite, all of us. Even Luke. Oh, and Deanna! She's a legacy member, right?"

"Yeah. She'll join in the future." Mara answered.

"Good. I like her."

"Wait, so how did you know Xavier?" Mara asked.

"Oh, when I 'died', I sort of went into a void with Pietro, rewatched our best memories, and Charles was the one guiding it. Sort of. It was actually a younger version of him. He had hair." Rosa explained.

"Hmm. By the way, did Wanda revive you or?"

"No, I revived myself."

"How?"

Rosa smirked as she looked at Mara, "a witch never spills her secrets."
