June 3rd - just wanna say, good morning to you

Aspen awoke by the sun shining through the window. She blinked her eyes open slowly and slightly turned her head. She was met with messy brown hair and a snoring James Potter. He scooted closer to her and kissed her nude shoulder. She blushed and let out a heavy exhale. Immediately, James' eyes opened.

He smirked and began kissing up her neck. She giggled and held his head as he continued. Slowly, he began climbing over her and kissing her neck roughly. She let her hand travel down James' torso until he disconnected from her neck.

He cocked his head and nodded. "This'll do." He whispered and rubbed the spot.

Aspen slapped her hands on his chest. "You gave me a hickey?" She asked with a shocked laugh.

He nodded happily and started kissing her. This was how most mornings started in the summer. Once James was sure his parents were asleep, he'd quietly sneak into Aspen's room and spend the night with her. It was magical to say the least. In fact, Sage said she had never seen Aspen happier. It is true to be fair. She and James finally got so much time and space to themselves that they really took advantage of it.

It was just as Dorcas said: it was a tiring summer, indeed. Though, her days were filled with much more than just James. She would play chess with Regulus and chat with the Potter parents and gossip about everyone with Sirius. She was always with someone and always doing something.

Today would only be slightly different: the Andino's were throwing a party to celebrate the parents 30th anniversary. This would be the first time since the cup match she would see her sister. She's missed Phoenix more than she ever thought she would. Though, to be fair, she didn't even know about her sister until a few months ago. Yet, Aspen already loved Phoenix as her sister.

Aspen disconnected from the kiss. She smiled at him. "We have to get ready." She said quietly.

James whined and rolled his head back. He looked back down at her. "Five minutes?"

"That's all you need?"

"Well-"

Aspen pushed him to the side. She wrapped a blanket around herself, hearing his protests. "We have the gala," she began looking for a jumper in her wardrobe, "and Poppy has to give me a check-up, and my mother's coming for breakfast."

"Yeah, but not for a while." James sassily added, sitting up in her bed.

Aspen turned around, now clothed in a jumper and sweat-shorts. She looked down at his abs for a moment before looking back up. "No." She said sternly.

He rolled his eyes before he got out of bed and put on his boxers, that were on the floor. He then hugged Aspen from behind. She sighed and leaned into his touch. He began kissing her neck again, moving her long hair out of the way. "James." She mumbled, running her fingers through his messy hair. He hummed onto her skin. "Five more minutes, then." She added softly.

He immediately turned her around, picked her up, and threw her onto the bed. She was laughing heartily at this, watching as he climbed over her and gripped her waist. She tutted and shook her head. He happily raised his brows. He switched positions so that she was on his lap, straddling him. She began kissing by his ear, earning a groan from the boy.

Then, someone knocked on her door.

"I'm getting ready!" She called, still kissing him.

"Aspen, get out here and say hi to your mother."

Aspen and James immediately sat up. James looked terrified. She immediately got off of him, he ran into the bathroom, she threw his clothes at him, and he closed the door quietly. She then ran to her door and opened it.
