Nikko was making her do something she had not planned on doing hanging with his young ass.
Fall for him.
Every day he was stepping up his game!
After the rose and the fantastic Arch view and Chinese food, on Friday he picked her up and had two red roses in his hand to give to her. Then he told her they were going out drinking and dancing. She did not bring anything cute to wear, so he took her shopping and offered to pay for her clothes.
She was not going to let this young boy become her sugar daddy so she had to use her own money, even if she had to put it on her credit card. He went shopping with her and helped her to pick out an outfit. Then they headed to his place. They ate something light, then both showered separately and changed into going-out clothes.
She was dressed in a short orange fitted dress that was off the shoulder. The dress came to her mid-thigh, but she wore boots that came above her knees. Nikko in denim jeans and a black tee shirt. She didn't think she saw him in anything but jeans or sweats outside of his uniform.
The man looked good. They looked good together.
But still, she felt some kind of way going out on the town with her young buck.
Maybe it was no big deal. Like Roxanne said, she did not look her age. Could they pass for the same age so others would not think twice about them?
The club Nikko took her to was not a club or bar, it was down Washington Avenue, not far from his loft in one of the buildings that was eight floors. The party was on the sixth floor and it too was a large open-spaced loft but she was unsure if it was someone's apartment, workshop, or business.
"What is this place?" She could hear music going and people talking.
"Come on," he gently said to her and led her to a big sliding door he pulled open.
This was indeed where someone lived. There was furniture to the side, but the area was spacious and about ten people were hanging around, talking and mingling. This was a house party.
She was about to ask whose place it was when Amorica rushed over to her and hugged her.
"Heeey! You two made it! Nik, get her coat, sheesh! Let her show off with her hot outfit. Oh, I love it."
"Thanks."
Nikko took her coat, kissed her cheek then walked off and left her with his best friend.
Amorica was too animated, doing a three-sixty, circling her as if she was a mannequin on display. Maybe she was drunk. Either way, the woman still looked amazing. Amorica's beauty was too intense for her. She never lacked confidence in her looks, her beauty, or her body, but standing next to this woman she felt like all her flaws would be seen.
Nikko's best friend/ex-girlfriend could be looked at as the opposite of her. While she had some height to her, Amorica was short. While she was thick and curvy, Amorica was slim and petite. While her natural hair barely touched her shoulders, and she always wore braids, a sew-in, or quick weave, Amorica had her own hair down to her waist. As a lawyer, she also assumed Amorica was wealthy. If this was her loft it was huge and cost a pretty penny.
"Is this your party? Nikko never told me where we were going."
"Oh, that sounds like our little Nikko." She smiled at her, pulling her off to the center of the people. "This is my girlfriend and my dad's place."
"Girlfriend?" She had no idea she was not straight. Her bad for assuming a pretty woman like her was straight. It made her feel old and less hip, not being more open-minded like the younger generation.
"Leah, come meet Nikko's new girlfriend...I mean, lady friend is what we're calling it?"
Then over walked what she saw to be an equally as beautiful woman. Taller, more her height, a lot thicker, and undeniably beautiful. What was in the water with these beautiful women nowadays? In her time women looked like regular women and not supermodels. Maybe it was the age of IG filters and full-face beats that had women looking incredible.
"Hi, I'm Leah." The woman grabbed Jakinda in a hug and squeezed. "Long as I've been knowing Nikko he has never dated a woman....I thought he was part of our crew."
She meant she thought he was gay? Nikko never gave off those vibes to her. Just because the man did not date around, sleep around, or have random women around who did not stick around, there was no reason to assume that. Those were all good qualities to have in a man.
"LeLe, now I told you my bestie was not gay. The boy is just always so serious. Always has been," Amorica stated. "Well, enjoy yourself at my party. I think Nikko found some friends he's chatting with so you can stick by me."
She looked around and sure enough, Nikko was talking with two guys, already with a beer in his hand. He looked her way and smiled.
That man made her swoon the way he looked at her.
"Aaw, look at her, she's got it bad for our little Nikko. You two are so cute," Amorica stated.
Even though she felt a bit out of place amongst this crowd of people, she found her groove hanging with Amorica and Leah. They both were interesting women. Leah was a lawyer at the same firm. They met when they both were first year's in law school and have been inseparable ever since. They dreamed of one day opening their own law firm but they wanted to get a few years under their belt.
Nikko finally walked over with a drink in his hand and handed it to her.
"Sorry, I saw some old classmates." He kissed her cheek. "Amorica likes to keep in contact with all of them, I just kind of let the past be the past."
She met some more of his friends and ex-classmates, had a few drinks, laughed, and even danced. It was a nice little get-together.
The next day was Saturday and although she wanted to sleep in, and keep fucking his brains out, Nikko woke her up early afternoon, this time with three roses for her.
"Boy, just give me the whole bouquet right now." She laughed but she loved it.
"I will give you flowers every day if it keeps my lady smiling like this."
"Breakfast in bed? And then more sex?"
"No, we have plans."
"In bed."
"No woman, we're going out and about. Tell me you've been to a hockey game?"
Now that, she had never done. The interesting thing about that was her ex-husband loved hockey. Played hockey in high school, and he loved to go watch the St. Louis Blues play. He never forced her to attend a game and she never had a desire to go.
Now she did. With Nikko.
They ate lunch, dressed in St. Louis Blues colors of blue and white, and then headed down for the midday game. The only other time she was in the arena was for a concert, and it definitely was a different vibe than a hockey game. The chill from the ice could be felt in the stands, and it was a good thing Nikko told her to bring gloves. It was more cold inside than it was outside.
St. Louis was known for being one of the biggest sports cities for the two professional teams they had. Well, three now with the professional soccer team. She also had yet to go watch a game there. Nikko seemed to be into sports, so if he wanted to take her, she would get into it.
"I know this may not be totally romantic, but it's something I enjoy...and I want us to enjoy things together," he said after he bought himself a beer and her a glass of wine, plus an order of nachos they shared.
"No, I'm having fun."
"You're not just saying that to make me feel good."
She kissed his cheek, not afraid to show some PDA while surrounded by screaming people. "Let's just say, I enjoy being with you no matter where we go."
Damn, he had her open.
