He was pacing here and there outside the ward, rubbing his reddened eyes with worry, which were seeking sleep and peace.

"Hisham! you should go home, I am with here with Rehan."
Rania sitting on the chair said with worry,

"Until I drop you and Rehan home, I will not go anywhere!"
Rania just took a deep breath,

Then the ward door opened and a nurse came out,

"Sir!"  he addressed Hisham,

Hisham, who was standing with his back to him, turned towards him.

"Doctor has discharged Rehan, now you can take him home."

And what they were waiting for happened, Hisham and Rania looked at each other smiling.

"But sir you must come with me, there's some formalities to do. "
Hisham nodded his head in the affirmative,

"Rania! keep Rehan ready."
He ran after the nurse giving her instructions.

The sun started rising and the car was speeding down the road towards its destination,

"Yeah...yeah! He's okay, I'll be home in a bit, you just take care of yourself and Reema."

Earpods in his ears, he was talking to Rabail.

"Allah Hafiz" [may god protect] and the call ended,

Hisham took a deep breath,

"Was it Rabail?" Rania asked,

" Yes. "

"What was she saying?"  Rabail's next question came,

"She was just asking about him, while looking at Rehan sitting next to him, he said,

While Rehan closed his eyes, and was leaning against the seat,

Hisham took a deep breath again and there was a deep silence in the car.

"Well, Rehan, do you think..."
Hisham wanted to break the silence in the car,

"I don't want to hear anything."
It was spoken with great satisfaction,

Hisham remained silent there, How much anger he unleashed in himself.

Casting a stern look upon him, he looked out upon the deserted street, Rania was just looking at Rehaan with regret.

He entered the house with tired feet, when Rania, coming from behind, stopped him,

"Stop Rehan! I need to talk to you," she was very patient.

"I said, I don't want to talk, I'm not in the mood to hear anything right now!"
He was very disgusted.

Hisham had also parked the car and came.

"You will have to listen."
There was anger in the eyes, intense anger

"You promised me that won't do drugs anymore!"

"So? Where did that promise go?"
She was looking at him questioningly.

"I broke it." came a voice from his wounded heart, knowing how much grief he was carrying inside himself.

"Just like you broke our hearts? " Hisham came from behind and said,

"Rehan!" Rania held both his arms.

"You know you're getting yourself into a quagmire that will be very difficult to get out of! Please! Don't do it, Please! "
