Bracing herself, she narrowly avoided hitting the windscreen.
"What happened Rehan!?" She got startled
"I-I'm Sorry..."
Rehan didn't want to show it, but he was very shocked by what she said.
Gul took a look at Rehan and turned the radio off. Her mood had deteriorated badly.
" What happened? " Rehan asked in surprise,
"Nothing! just drop me home quickly."
Leaning back on the seat, she said with disgust,
Rehan took a deep breath and the car once again moved towards its destination.

She entered the house with a smiling face, the angee had now cooled. Gul's eyes fell on Omar who was fixing the sofa cushions,
"Dad? why are you doing all this?"
"When did you came?"
"This is not the answer to my question!"
Gul smiled slightly,
"Well! let's leave it all and sit here."
Holding Umar by his arms, he seated him on the sofa.
"What happened!? " He was a little worried.
"I have to tell something good."
"It's finally happening. Soon we are having the reception. It's in two days"
There was this same satisfaction in the tone,
"What? It's so early!?"
"Gul, I'm not ready yet." He spoke in a low voice,
"Ready for what?" Gul didn't understand.
"To let you go." His words silenced Gul for a few moments.
"I-I'll talk to Rehan, I'll telling him that we are not in such a hurry."
"No Dad please! I've told Rehan myself that I am willing to come with him as soon as possible."
"What! But why?" Surprise was evident on his face.
"Dad! She took Omar's hand in her's
"See! I can't stay with you forever! I have to go one day or another, so why delay it Hmmm?"
"But....."
Gul interrupted him,
"And don't worry about the preparations, neither we are so rich nor do we need so many preparations and he doesn't want any dowry." [an amount of property or money brought by a bride to her husband on their marriage]
Again the same satisfaction in tone,
"Did he tell you that himself ?!" As Omar comforted his heart,
" Yes....! " she smiled,
She used to tell lies so clearly that the other one would take them as the truth,
Omar smiled as if he had agreed to her words.
