Life is nothing but regret, they say.

Two weeks later:

A new day had begun and the day that perhaps neither of them had been waiting for had arrived.

"I've packed everything, let me know if you need anything else."

When Gul turned to him who had zipped the bag up. she found him silent, he looked lost.

"Rehan?!"

Feeling the weight of her hand on his shoulder, he came out of his thoughts.

"What is it? are you scared?!"

She holds so much warmth in her eyes.

"I am afraid of going there. I went there a few years ago and ran away from there (okay not specifically that same institute, but it's the same thing) I am afraid that I will do the same thing again. I don't have the courage."

"Nothing will happen, I am sure! And it is not necessary for a person to succeed the first time.

The environment there was also something different where you went before, besides worrying won't change anything, so it's better to hope for the best and move forward."

Gul at least tried to reassure him,

Rehan took a deep breath and nodded in affirmation.

She could feel his fear tho.

The car stopped, everyone had gotten out and now the center of attention was the building in front of them.

That white, three-story building stretched for miles, and the silence almost piercing.

After staring at the building for way more than they actually intended to, it was time to say goodbye.

"I don't want to let you go, but I have to."

Rania hugging him tightly tears almost ready to fall.

"Take care of yourself, Rania!"
His voice cracked (kind of)

Now he came in front of Gul, who was trying unsuccessfully to hide her tears.

"I haven't even left yet Gul-"
Seeing her tears rolling down her cheeks,
He said with soft and doe- eyes

"I'm not crying."
She said- lowering her gaze.

Rehan resisted to scoff, went forward and hugged her tightly. His hands gripping her waist—creating a safe-place for her to cry— and she didn't actually resisted this time.

"Don't worry, I'll come soon."
She was so sobbing like a child- at first rehan was taken- aback, because he never expected gul to cry- like actually cry—

Mindlessly he was patting her head- resting his chin on it.

When they didn't part and was staying in each other arms— for more than they intended— hisham jumped in—

"Dude— my turn now."
he said, rolling back his eyes, as he waiting for quite some time.

As Hisham wanted to make him feel his presence.

Rehan- scoffed and gull laughed a little- sniffing and pulling back from rehan.

Rehan sprinted (kind of) towards him, hugged him with all his strength.
