Chapter 6: Eddie

Tora's POV

Elena was currently napping. She needed time to heal. And right now, she was an emotional wreck. "Play time is over. If I catch her coming down here again, I'm taking over. I won't allow you to hurt her anymore."

"So you know then? You know that what I say is true?" I nod. "I don't mean to hurt her, but keeping the truth from her, as you have done, will only hurt her more."

"She wasn't even aware of my existence until now. If I had shown myself before, she would never have come outside anymore. She would never have known that there are nice guys out there, and she wouldn't have had the courage to embrace her gift."

"You mean your gift."

"She was born with ice powers. I knew what she was before she was born. I ask her parents if I could possess her to help her control her gift. They agreed. Elena wasn't supposed to be born. She was supposed to be still born. But I knew if she lived, she could have a great destiny."

"So you took over. Isn't that what you always do?" He chuckled.

"Oh, Eobard." I shook my head. "You have no room to talk. I've heard loads about you. And what you've done." I smirk. Only because I know how to fix everything. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I have someone to talk to."

I walk back upstairs and see Barry with tears in his eyes. I go to him and hold him. "Can I see her?"

"You'll see her later. Right now, she's upset. She's never had a broken heart like this. She loves you deeply. And I know you love her too. That's why you need to let her go. Go be with the one you are meant to be with."

He shook his head vigorously. "I can't. I can't leave her. I love her." He began to sob.

"I know. I know. But, you need to let Elena go. And she will need to let you go and move on."

"With who?" I gave him a look. "You already know, don't you?" I nod. "Will you tell me?"

"No. You'll find out soon enough. And so will she. But please, don't hate her when she moves on."

"I could never hate her." He looked down at me. "Tell her I love her." I nod, a tear coming down my cheek. I fell in love with him too, but I would never admit that to him. It would only make things harder for him, to know that not one, but two people loved him.

"I will. Now go." He nods and walks away, until he's no longer there. I wake up Elena to check on her.

'You mean other than the fact that I can't be with Barry or Eobard? Yeah, I'm just peachy.'

"I know you love them, but they are destined for other things. And so are you."

'Like what?'

"You can help change the course of history. You can help change Barry's past and furture. He will still be The Flash, but he will also have his family."

'So...you're saying I can help save his mom?'

"Yes."

'How in the hell am I going to do that?'

"By dating Eddie Thawne."

'Are you fucking kidding me? That's gross! Eobard is Eddie's descendant. If I'm with Eddie, that makes Eobard my descendant as well.'

"No, it doesn't. If you are with Eddie, Eobard will be born to another family. Eddie has a brother. Eobard will be born from that line. And because of this, Eobard won't have the struggled childhood he had. He will be loved, cherished. And he will get what he's always wanted, and more."
