I woke up from my sleep, awakened by a sharp rapping on the front door. I got up, and in my haste, tumbled out of bed. Ugh. I got up, and ran down the stairs. The rapping had stopped for a moment, but now it started again. I yanked the front door open, to see Barry, as The Flash. He panted.
"Field Work. Need your help."
He raised his eyebrows at me, asking a silent question. I opened my mouth to speak, but shut it. I looked down. My pajamas were my special snowflakes ones. Mentally, I shrugged my shoulders. I nodded. And in a gust of wind, I was gone.

Barry set me down in front of a bank. People were running out, screaming. Barry did that familiar, taking a breath, tilting his head, and charging thing of his, and he ran into the building. I didn't know what to do, so I followed him. On the way in, I saw a girl frozen in a block of ice. She was crying, and her face had started to turn blue from the cold. Cold. As in, Captain Cold. The frost spread like tenticles and vines, towards heat wave. He noticed too late. Ice leapt off the floor, some curling up his legs, jamming itself into his gun. I concentrated harder, and the ice started to vibrate. I heard thunder outside. The air turned chilly. Heatwave started resisting slower, his veins started popping out. The tendrils of ice wrapped around him like he was a mummy, as the water inside him froze as well. He stopped moving completely, utterly frozen from the inside. Barry and Cold just stood, looking at me. I stood up and stumbled forward. The world spun. Captain Cold aimed his gun at me, and shot. I raised my hand and a wave of cold blasted away from me. It knocked him off his feet, making his shot go at a higher angle, I could hardly defend myself. Black dots clouded my vision as the world went in slow motion around me. Barry dove in front of me, and got hit by the blast. Ice shards sprouted from the other side of his chest, as I fell into darkness
