Ken looked at Genya standing on the rock. "This man... He's fast enough to prevent me from activating my Distortion on time, and that knife..." Ken glanced at the knife in Genya's hand, immediately recognizing its danger. He knew he had to prevent Genya from getting close to him.

"Oh yeah?! You won't be able to get near me! Mark my words!" Ken responded, immediately using Yin energy to blast towards Genya's position, but Genya dodged easily.
Ken quickly looked around, but he couldn't sense any mana from Genya. He became alert, scanning his surroundings. Suddenly, a knife struck from his right side, aiming for Ken's head, but Ken crouched down and quickly punched towards Genya. Genya immediately changed direction at high speed, dodging Ken's attack, then disappeared into the forest.
"Tsk, his body is troublesome. Not only is there no Maatsu... this physique... Divine Binding, huh? Never thought they had this kind of troublesome person in the guild. The binding must exchange all Maatsu for physical prowess, giving him immense strength and speed without using Maatsu. In return, he can't use any magic since birth," Ken analyzed Genya's moves.
Another attack came from the forest, and Ken quickly dodged aside. "That was close. This place is his domain; I can't track him down like this since he has no Maatsu. Ken exclaimed, sweat breaking out on his forehead. The Maatsu started moving again. "Never thought you could recover from my attack that fast..." Ken thought to himself, continuing to track the knife's Maatsu.
But the Maatsu became faster and faster, jumping around the trees surrounding Ken. "Tsk! In that case... Negative Distortion: Yin! Maximum Output!" Ken used Negative Distortion and destroyed everything around him, leaving enough space to react before Genya could attack him again.
"This should do... even if he's fast, he won't be fast enough to attack me while I'm tracking his weapon's Maatsu..." Suddenly, Ken's eyes detected another Maatsu spike from the mountain bottom. "This Maatsu... Hajime!" Ken quickly turned towards the bottom, but Genya immediately appeared behind him.
"Hm, thanks to your friend, your attention finally got diverted," Genya said, thrusting the knife through Ken's throat. "Heavenly Nullblade can nullify all magic in this world with its foreign forbidden Maatsu. Thanks to this weapon, I can bypass your Distortion. Thanks to Iida... he made your friend Hajime go berserk and diverted your attention. That means both of us win." Genya then pulled the knife from Ken's throat and brutally stabbed his heart and brain with another knife.
"Satou Ken... Genius from Mahoh Academy, comfirmed dead" Genya said, wiping the bloods from his knives, and keep them back with a smile.
