"Eh.....Lily? Are you okay? You got me so scared and worried.....I thought you left.....who is your friend Lily?"

Sheilah asked as she looked worriedly at Lily, but then got distracted as she looked at the man sitting with her friend, she cleared her throat trying to hide her interest and attraction.

With an eye roll at her poorly hidden interest, Lily touched her braids awkwardly looking at Kiaris covertly, quickly turning away as she saw how intently he kept staring at her, avoiding his eyes she introduced.

"Kiaris meet my friend Sheila......Sheila meet Kiaris, we just met"

"Oh nice to meet you Mr. Kiaris, are you also coming with us to the Spirit Camp Meet?".
Sheila asked while positioning herself in between Lily and her main focus. Lily who wasn't surprised by her wanton behaviour Shaked her head quietly as this wasn't the first time that she openly shows interest in a hot guy.

"Yeah am actually here for work" Kiaris replied with his focus still on Lily.

"Work? what kind of work?" Sheila fired non stop trying to grab his attention.

"I was employed to work in the media section, sound engineer, things like that, what about you, here for work or......".
Though he was continuing the conversation with Sheila, he kept looking at Lily, who in turn was looking intently at her smart phone.

"Number 623 and 624?" The attendant lady shouted looking irritated at the delay, at the same time, this cut off any reply Lily would have given.

"Over here" Sheila shouted back grabbing her bag and Lily's which was placed under the bench.

"Lily that's us lets go before we miss our chance". Sheila said as she hurried with the bags.

"Wait!" KIaris held unto her arm as she made attempt to stand.

"Will I see you again?"

"........"

"Can I at least get your phone number so I will know you girls are safe and settled?".

"Safe?" Lily frowned at the choice of words he used, what's there to be safe from? wasn't this a "spiritual camp meet"?

"Ok let me have your phone". Taking the phone that was hurriedly shoved to her hands she typed in her number and gave it back to him in time, as Sheila hurried back to drag her arm towards their private vehicle.

"What did he say to you? Sheila asked looking suspiciously at Lily who had been quietly looking out the window.

"Nothing"

"........."

"Nothing? please you two talked and don't tell me nothing, you have never talked to strangers in all the years I have known you, is there something you ain't telling me?"

"Something like what?" Lily asked sounding a little irritated.

"God .....just forget it, na your way be that, but on a serious note that dude is hottt, I mean for a white guy he is not bad at all" Sheila replied as she exaggerated fanning herself.

"I thought you said chocolate is your flavor?" Lily asked smirkingly.

"So? cant I have vanilla once in a while?".

"Hmmm" Smiling Lily looked at her phone as a message popped up, looking at the sender she smiled more broadly at the content of the message.

"This is Kiaris, the guy you met a few minutes back, just checking on you and making sure you don't forget me so soon".

"Why are you smiling? what are you looking at?" Sheila asked with an attempt to take the phone but Lily quickly tuck the phone in her hand bag.

"It's just one of those funny stories"

"............"

"So what do we do now seeing we are here already?" Lily asked as the car entered a huge field with an equally huge building right in front of it. It seems people were already settled in as the place was bustling with various activities.

"Oh yes we take our bags in and then we go show our letter so we can be admitted into the sanctum"

"Can you please stop saying sanctum" Lily Scrunched up her nose.

"what's wrong with the word? its what its called besides they don't operate like those churches we have today, they are more spiritual oriented, they don't tax you to bring all you have, instead they give jobs and even monetary assistance to those that are in need, and this meet takes place every year, you hardly find something like that again, I promise you, this will be an experience never to forget".

"Okay if you say so.......am hungry can we order in?" Lily asked as a way of distraction, even though she wasn't yet convinced as she still had that "hair standing at the back of your neck" feeling about the place and its so called "Holy Man". Though she hasn't seen him personally, but from sheila's enthusiastic tales it has raised a lot questions in her mind. Sighing silently she exited the car and thanked the driver as he helped place their luggages in front of the building entrance, where a too eager bell boy hurriedly came over with a trolley to carry the bags in.

As the girls walked into the building a sinister looking pair of eyes followed them, glinting with raw viciousness, exuding an aura that made even those around avoid with hurried steps.
