The fact that for years Lily had been conscious of people looking at her, made her master the art of knowing when eyes were on her. Turning abruptly to the dark corridor at the far end to the left she squinted her eyes to see if the shadow she saw was a shadow of a human or just lighting tricks .

"What? did you see something?"

Kiaris was looking at her and noticed her quick whip of her head to the left, not taking any chances he held her elbow and looked at the place that captured her attention.

"N..No I don't think so it must be the light casting shadows... I think"

"hmmm"

Kiaris didn't want to spook Lily in anyway, so he didn't tell her he had  the feeling of being watched ever since they left the announcement hall, even in the hall he felt watched but didn't want to alert whoever it was to the fact that he knew they were watching.

"Come on stay close to me, just in case"

"In case of what?"

Lily asked as she took another look at the corners of the hall, as she was looking she saw a man emerge from the place she just saw the shadow.

"Good morning fellow brothers and sisters you are welcome to Sanctum Flourish, my name is Fredrick and am in charge of you  for  the duration of your stay. Whatever you need, let me now and it will be provided."

The man said and Lily looked at him, trying to gauge her feelings with him as to the one she felt when the unknown eyes were on her minutes ago. As she stared at him, Kiaris was infact also staring at her. Did she think that he was the one staring just now? while Kiaris knew they were watched, he knew for a fact it wasnt Fredrick watching them earlier on.

"okay so we have five rooms and there will be no intermingling with the opposite sex within these four weeks you will be here. No staying out of your room, when its light's out, No one is exempted when its time for meditation and worship, everyone will be present when its time for Breakfast and Lunch. Dinner is not to be had in these four weeks and everyone is expected to be on fast when its announced. No junk, no simple carbs........."

As Fredrick went ahead to announce the Dos and Don'ts Lily began to have a second regrets concerning this retreats, signing up for a military training would have been better than this unnecessary undeserved punishment. As they listened to the remaining rules and regulations, their rooms numbers were called and to Lily's surprise, Kiaris and her were located in the same floor, facing each other. While she was elated, Kiaris was satisfied with the fact that the money spent was indeed well spent.

"Come on Neighbour"

Kiaris quickly removed his hand from her waist as Fredrick looked towards their direction.

"Why do we feel like we are back in secondary school"

Lily asked as she used her palm to hide her smile. Together they walked towards their floor, with Kiaris carrying both their bags, arriving in front of the door, Lily paused and looked intently at the handle of the door. Fear she had temporary forgotten  began to surface as  cold sweat began forming on her temple and back.

"Are you okay, here come on"

Kiaris opened her door and ushered her in, leading her to her bed as he proceeded to unscrew a bottle of water and handed it to Lily .

"Lily what's wrong?"
