CHAPTER FOUR.

" From this angle you can actually see more than half a mile, technology really has advance"

Racheal one of the technical team support staff exclaimed as she smiled broadly at Kiaris who was head bent on the camera screen adjusting the lens zoom functions.

"Do you want to go get dinner together?" She asked looking at him from the corner of her eyes.

" Will go later, you can go first, still got alot to fix"

Kiaris replied with a little smile, as he bent his head going back to work.

Looking at the back of his Head Racheal had a bitter look on her face as she had heard the rumour of how aloof the new media team leader was, not giving anyone a chance to be friendly or even develop a friendship with him, notwithstanding Rachel had made up her mind to make him hers no matter what it takes.

"Alright I guess I'll see you tomorrow then, make sure you get dinner and don't eat late, ok......bye"

"......." , "Bye"

Taking up his phone he called Lily with a goofy smile on his face, which turned sour after his call was ignored. Dialing again he patiently waited but still no response. Tucking his phone into his pocket he packed up his equipment and dashed out with the intention of going to visit her in her lodge.

"Good evening mam can you please help me get across a Miss Lily Emeka, am a friend, if you can just let her know Kiaris is here to see her, am sure she will see me".

Kiaris explained to the receptionist at the hotel entrance.

" Ok sir, will look it up and give her a call"

The receptionist responded with a smile revealing a one sided dimple, that momentarily caught his attention as she briefly reminded him of his love one.

"Kiaris?...em Mr Kiaris? What are you doing here, are you lodged here too?"

Sheila asked with a happy look coming into her face.

Turning around he smiled as he inwardly breathed out with relieve as this just made things much easier.

" Sheila right?"

"Yes, we met at the park earlier, just this morning"

" Yes I remember and your friend...Lily how is she?"

He asked that last question with his eyes trying to look behind her anxiously.

" She is settling in just fine, I was just going to ask if we can order in room service and also see what's good at the entertainment room."

"Oh okay....so she is inside then?"

He didn't know if he should let her know he has been calling but ignored, as a man he knew when a woman was openly showing interest but unlike Racheal he could tolerate Sheila maybe because of her relationship with Lily or probably cause he didn't detect something off like he did with Racheal, still he kept mum about the fact that he had Lily's contact.

" Can you please call on Lily to let her know am here , maybe we can all have dinner together".

That sounded too good to pass on, Sheila smiled with glee, it seems God was on her side today, meeting a handsome and well mannered man and not only that bumping into him not once but twice in one day and then been asked out for dinner....this was all a one big clear sign. Without hesitating she dialed but after some few seconds she frowned.

"What's wrong? " Kiaris asked feeling a little nervous.

" Oh nothing she probably is in the bathroom, she was about to take a shower when I left so maybe.... Ok I will go back and let her know why don't you wait here for us at the reception we will meet you here, you okay with that?"
