"Well if it isn't little Miss Eliza and Delilah." William said in a very sarcastic voice.

Del and I turned around to face William and his brother Stanley, who are looking at us like we are pigs in a slaughter auction.  We then look at each other and grimace.  They just keep smirking.  "What do you two want? Shouldn't you two be trying to get with girls who will never want you?" I ask and William's smirk drops as he just stares at me.

"Lizzy I thought that is what they were already doing by coming up to us and trying to talk to us, only achieving to make fools of themselves." Del says and smiles at me then looks to them condescendingly. While Stanley's smirk drops as well.

"You do realize we can get any girl that we want right?  We will even be getting those girls after we are married to you two prudes." William says with a smirk growing back on his sadly handsome face.

"You two maybe attractive to some standards, but sleeping with the slum in the brothels will get you nowhere in life." Del speaks up.

"I don't see why you are complaining. If it wasn't for your parents promising you to us you wouldn't even get married.  Neither of you are pretty enough to have men want you." Stanley speaks up and William laughs nodding his head.

"If you are calling yourselves men I think you need to recheck.  Sleeping around doesn't make you a man. It makes you stupid and unfaithful, especially when you are supposed to be promised to someone." I fight back.

William walks closer to me and gives me the look that tells me I would be hit if we were in private.  "You will do better to remember your place and watch what you say.  You are to be my wife and I will not have people know I allowed you to speak to me like that." Then he spit at my feet and starts to walk way.

"Same goes for you, mind your place." Stanley says just going along with his brother like the tag along he truly is.

Del was about to say something when I grabbed her arm and pulled her back.  Only for me to step up myself, and what I said I have no idea why I said it.  I was just so mad and I couldn't take it anymore.
