Asher's POV

As I was running back to my friends I saw what looked like a wood working shop, and saw what looked like beds made out of wood, but they had covers and what looked like T's on them. I made a note of those and ran to my friends. I made it to them to see them still looking over at the girls that we have chosen. "We can do it, my father said our fathers just have to attend." I smiled looking at all three of them then over to my bride who is talking with her friends.

"Well, what do we need to do?" Maddox asked, while Langley and Calder nodded looking to me intently.

I stumbled over my words as I took my eyes away from my bride to be, "I have an idea, and I think that they might be happy with it." They all looked at me questioningly trying to figure out what I am thinking, when Calder speaks up.

"We will do what ever it takes for them to want us like we want them."

"Just tell us what we have to do and we will do it" Langley speaks up, while Maddox nods his head intently.

"Just follow my lead and you will understand," and with that I started heading back towards the wood working shop. They followed me all the way, and along the way we found 4 younger men just messing around doing nothing and I asked them to follow and help. When we got to the wood working shop I grabbed one of the many bed boxes and told the others to grab one as well.

We all started walking again each with a box in hand, until we came to an open field. I sat down the wooden box and had one of the younger boys sit one down next to mine. A little bit away I had the others do the same. Then I spoke, "Okay I need you four young men to go out into the woods and get enough branches to make these box beds stand up off the ground to be burned. Then get eight branches, four long and four short, and find me some rope to bind." The boys nodded and then ran off.

"What do we do?" Calder asked.

"What we are going to do is take our intendeds to find their family to burn. It is the way my mother described honored the dead. And then we are going to make t things with the eight separate pieces of branch." They all nodded towards me as we headed back to the pen.
