The process of getting justice was way longer than Frank had expected.

He had expected everything would be done so quickly, but instead, it was a very slow drawn out process.

A process that took almost two months to complete.

The two months were a mixture of emotions for Frank, some of the time he was really happy, while others he was stressed out and anxious, and it didn't help that the girls friends were harassing him.

They were all freshmen she had wrapped around her finger, and for that reason, Frank wasn't too angry at them.

He was annoyed, sure, but he knew how that girl was, she probably convinced them all he was the one to rape her instead.

And after a while they had moved on, and all Frank had to deal with were the occasional stare in the hallway.

He accepted not everyone was going to take him seriously, and that it was in no way his fault, that's just how some people were, and he couldn't change them.

That realization alone helped Frank move on tremendously.

He no longer argued with strangers in halls, and he no longer had to run and hide while tears streamed down his face.

Things were improving, and even though it came at a price, he was still grateful.

There were things he had to do before things got better, and despite knowing it was for the best, it was still very hard on him at times.

Like when he had to go into the police station and record a statement, that was probably the most difficult.

He couldn't even have Gerard there with him, and that made his nerves raise through the roof.

He did have the help of that doctors brother though, and luckily for Frank, the lawyer made the process as easy as possible for him.

Frank learned about how easy it was to twist words from him, and after contemplating what he would have said alone, he was extremely grateful the lawyer was there to steer him away from it.

He didn't understand why it was so easy to twist words, especially in a courtroom, but he could see how it would happen.

He had to rehearse his testimony for a week straight before the interview, and that was probably one of the hardest parts for him.

He had to repeat over and over again what had happened to him, he had to look at himself in the mirror and say those words, and most of the time, he rehearsed with Gerard.

The first time he rehearsed it with Gerard he ended up in tears, shame had overcome him while he told his boyfriend step by step everything he remembered.

Gerard was nothing but supportive of course, and luckily for Frank, Gerard knew how to calm him down.

Sometimes he would bring Frank's dog Buddy upstairs to cuddle with him, or he'd go downstairs and make Frank something nice to drink to help him calm down.

It was painful, but it was necessary, and all the painful practice led to a very successful testimony tape.

And to Frank's surprise, Jamia had done something to strengthen the case even more.

She got everyone who witnessed the girl being strange towards Frank to write a letter about the incidents.

Even his band mates wrote letters, and they were actually there before it all happened.

They wrote about how she gave one of them a drink, and insisted on Frank being the one to have it, along with how Frank wasn't acting normal after he had it.
