She stepped out of the café with her daughter.
While her daughter was constantly asking for their food, I guess.
I wanted to go behind her, to tell her the truth about the murder, to tell how my heart has broken every day when she was not there.
But all I did was stand in that café and watch her go.
I craved for her these three years like a child craves chocolates, like a bee craves nectar, like a mother craves her child.
And I craved for her as a lover, a lover who lost his love due to some shit misunderstanding.
I want to go behind her, wrap my arms around her, and let my tears fall into her lap.
But.
She is married?
How can she marry in just three fucking years?
She said she loved me more than anything and just 3 years to move on and have a child?
Was I really that bad, Tara?
So bad that you felt the need to go to someone else, get caught up in everything, and have a child?
I don't know.
Maybe I could never truly understand my Tara.
Even though we were together for only a few months, we saw both the worst and best sides of each other. We loved each other's flaws.
As I was lost in my thoughts, one of the café staff members approached me.
"Sir, do you know them? She left her order here only."
"Give the order to me," I replied.
He brought the order to me and said, "Sir, that would be 10 dollars."
I handed him the money and left the café. Sitting in the car, I instructed the driver, "Drive this way," pointing in the direction she had gone. Since she was on foot, I knew we could easily catch up to her.
The driver drove a short distance, and there she was, walking quickly with her daughter.
I suspected her house was nearby, but I didn't want to come across as a stalker or scare her.
"Stop the car," I said.
I got out, carrying her order, and approached her.
