On a hot summer afternoon, Mikha was relaxing on her balcony, savoring her coffee. The tranquility was interrupted by a sudden knock on the door.

"Bakla, buksan mo bilis!" a voice shouted.

Mikha peeked down at her front yard and saw her friends Gwen, Sheena, and Colet. Hurriedly, she went down and opened the door.

"What brings you guys here?" she asked, her curiosity piqued.

"Bakla, may alumni tayo!" Sheena exclaimed, shaking Mikha's shoulder excitedly.

"Huh? Paano niyo nasabi?" Mikha questioned, confusion etched on her face.

"We walked past the school kanina at nakita namin sa tarpaulin na may alumni daw!" Sheena explained, eyes wide with excitement.

"Really?! So that means..." Mikha's face lit up with a grin.

"Oo na, bakla, baka pupunta si Aiah." Colet said, smirking.

Mikha felt a sudden ache in her heart when she heard Aiah's name. Mikha shook it off from her head and the group moved their conversation to the latter's dining room. As they chatted animatedly, Sheena's phone buzzed with a notification. She opened it and saw a message from Aiah. Jumping up, she announced to the girls, "Guys! Si Aiah, oh, nag-message sakin!"

Sh*t Mikha whispered to herself. Her heart began pounding again.

"Miks? namutla ka bigla ah" Gwen teased Mikha, who rolled her eyes sarcastically.

- Aiah's Message -

"Hey Shee! How are you? I heard we have an alumni next month. Super excited na ako! I'm coming home next week!"

Aiah had gone to America years ago to continue her studies and was now returning. The news stirred conflicting emotions in Mikha. Aiah was her ex-girlfriend, and their relationship had ended abruptly when Aiah ghosted her after ten months of dating.

- Sheena -
"Talaga Aiks? Nakaka-excite naman! Where ka mag-s-stay, teh?"

- Aiah -
"I was thinking maybe I can sleep  sa house nyo ni Colet? or if not, maybe kay Gwen?"

- Sheena -
"Ok na ok talaga Aiks. Kaso matutulog na sina Staku, Jho at Maloi saamin. Tas si Gwen naman, under renovation bahay nya so sa condo sya nag s-stay ngayon. Kay Miks nalang vacant."

- Aiah -
"Is that so? What's the best apartment for rent jan na malapit sainyo?"

"Guys ano daw best apartment for rent na malapit dito?" Sheena looked up at the girls.

"Huh? bakit naman?" Colet asked.

"Eh kasi ito si Aiah matutulog daw sa apartment. Yaman siguro neto"

"Bakit?"

"Eh kasi sila Jho matutulog na satin eh. Tsaka yung bahay ni Gwen nirerenovate pa."

Mikha heard the girls' conversation. "Edi dito sya matulog" She said without hesitation.

The girls looked at her in shock.

"What? I'm being generous here?"
She said to the girls.

"Grabe naman yarn. True naba yan?" Sheena teased.
