next day

They both woke up early, staring at the ceiling, each lost in their thoughts about how to fix this. Coincidentally, they went out of their rooms at the same time. Their eyes met, and for a moment, they just looked at each other. Tears started falling from both of them, and without a word, they ran to each other and hugged tightly.

Aiah's voice was choked with emotion as she whispered, "I'm so sorry, Babi. I was so caught up in my own pain, I didn't see how much I was hurting you."

Mikha held her even tighter. "I know, Babi. I'm sorry, too. I should have been more careful, more aware. I love you so much, and it breaks my heart to see you like this."

Aiah pulled back slightly, looking into Mikha's eyes. "I love you, too. I don't want to lose you. Kailan natin mag usap."

Mikha nodded, her tears still flowing. "We should."

They stood there, holding each other, letting the tears flow. The morning light filtering through the windows felt like a new beginning, a chance to start over. They knew it wouldn't be easy, but they were committed to facing their struggles together.

They sat down at the kitchen table, their hands still clasped together. The conversation was long and difficult, filled with tears and confessions, but it was also healing. They spoke about their fears, their insecurities, and their deep love for each other.

By the time they finished, the sun was high in the sky. They felt a sense of relief, a weight lifted off their shoulders. They knew they still had a lot of work to do, but they also knew they could face it together.

Aiah squeezed Mikha's hand. "Thank you, Babi."

Mikha smiled through her tears. "I love you."

Feeling the depth of their connection and the raw emotions they had just shared, Mikha stood up and gently pulled Aiah to her feet. She cupped Aiah's face in her hands, her thumb brushing away the lingering tears. Slowly, she leaned in and kissed Aiah tenderly, pouring all her love and reassurance into the kiss.

Aiah responded, her arms wrapping around Mikha's waist as they continued to kiss softly, savoring the moment, and the kiss kept deepening slightly.

When they finally pulled away, they rested their foreheads together, breathing in unison.

Mikha whispered, "No no away na, okay?"

Aiah nodded. "Yes, Babi"

They held each other for a while longer, feeling the warmth of their connection and the promise of a brighter future.

It was afternoon when the girls decided to check on Mikha and Aiah after the events of the previous night. They knocked on the front door and were greeted by Aiah, whom they immediately hugged. Confusion flickered across her face as they entered and found Mikha in the kitchen, busily preparing snacks.

Mikha paused in her preparations and walked over to the girls."Oh? Ba't kayo nandito?"

"We wanted to check if okay lang kayo. Anyare kagabi?" Maloi asked.

"It was just a misunderstanding. We're okay now" Mikha assured them with a smile.

"Sakto may miryenda oh" Stacey exclaimed.

"Yeah, upo lang kayo dun sa living room. Wait for me" Mikha said, leading the girls to the living room.

Everyone settled comfortably, chatting happily and watching a movie while waiting for Mikha to join them with the snacks.
