The drive was awkward. Gracie's mood had changed drastically and the atmosphere had become tense. You hated it.

"Y/n" Gracie finally said, but she seemed distant.

"Yes"

The brunette sighed, pulling onto the side of the quiet rode.

"Maybe this isn't a good idea" the girl finally said again, her hands still firmly gripping the steering wheel.

You sat there in silence, trying to understand what she meant. But you knew deep down what she meant.

"What..."

"I didn't tell you what happened after you caught the flight back home" she whispered.

You looked over to her to see her visibly shaking. Like something inside of her had snapped.

"Gracie what do you mean?" You asked, trying to put your hand on her arm before she shook it off gently.

"When you left... Claire acted dumb, like she didn't know anything about what you were saying. When I saw you with Charlton I got so jealous that I wasn't thinking straight. I was so sad after you left, but Claire comforted me-"

Your jaw stiffened.

"I've heard enough" you winced. Quickly opening the passenger door to get out.

"Y/n wait-" Gracie said, getting out the drivers side and rushing to get in front of you.

You pushed past her and began walking up the road.

"Y/n stop" Gracie said as she walked behind you.

You turned around, your eyes were tearing up and you couldn't hold it back anymore.

"So this is the part where you tell me you fucked her right?" You spat, sending daggers towards her.

Gracie flinched slightly at your tone, but her face grew confused.

"What- what? No-"

"No fuck you. I'd rather walk the next 5 miles to Liv's house than be in the same car as you" you yelled, turning back and speed walking down the road.

But the brunette wasn't giving up as she ran over to you and grabbed your arm gently.

"Nothing happened" she said slowly, but you still didn't face her, waiting for her to continue.

"She comforted me after you left. I was in tears, I couldn't breathe. Days went past and I was still the same."

Your body became less tense at hearing this. But you still couldn't turn to face her.

"-Then one time when I was in the studio, I heard Claire talking to someone on the phone. Saying how she was planning something. I confronted her but she said it was none of my business, so we went out separate ways after that. But yeah it didn't end well."

She sighed, tugging your arm gently and trying to get you to turn.

"So no. Nothing happened. All I did was cry and get shit faced for the remainder of my tour."

You put your head down and slowly turned to face her. But your eyes were still stained with tears so you couldn't bear to look at her.

Before you could say anything the brunette wrapped her arms around you and kissed your head.

"We're so chaotic" you choked into her chest.

"Tell me about it" the brunette mumbled as she held you close.

A few minutes passed and all you could focus on was Gracie's heartbeat. Finally, the brunette pulled back and checked her phone.

"Jesus it's 4AM we need to get to Liv's house" the girl laughed.

You nodded yawning. "Maybe. I am kind of tired"

You saw the brunette smirking as she came closer to you.

"Gracie what are you d-"

But before you could finish, the girl picked you up bridal style.

"Gracie!?" You half yelled as she started walking back to her car.

"Practicing for our wedding day" the girl said, opening the passenger side door and placing you into the seat gently.

"You will not be picking me up on our wedding day" you mumbled sternly, but feeling drowsy from sleep.

The brunette smirked, tucking a piece of hair behind your ear before getting into the drivers side.

Your eyes closed slowly, the last thing you remember was feeling a small kiss on your lips. "Watch me"
