"Are you going to tell me why you're being so weird?" Gracie's voice asked suddenly, making you pause your movie.

"Huh?"

The brunette rolled her eyes.

"Ever since you came back from the bathroom you have been acting off... what's wrong?"

You shifted in your seat uncomfortably.

"I told you. I'm just feeling anxious..." you said nervously.

But Gracie wasn't stupid, she knew you very well.

"No, that was before. This is something different. Something you're not telling me" she answered, sighing and opening her book.

You didn't really know what to say. I mean what could you say to her? Oh and just so you know babe, the girl that I saw at that party last year is also on the plane with us.

But something snarky left your mouth before you could stop yourself.

"I swear to god Gracie, you're always digging for something"

You heard the girls book slam shut.

Now you'd done it.

"Maybe I'm digging for things because you don't tell me anything, ever thought of that huh?"

Ouch. But she wasn't wrong.

You rolled your eyes in response, keeping up the bitchy attitude.

"I don't have to tell you everything" you responded bitterly.

"You tell me nothing" the brunette said, her face twisting into a scowl.

You crossed your arms, extremely frustrated with this conversation.

"Can you just drop it?!" you said, possibly too loudly as people started looking over.

Gracie's jaw clenched, but she seemed to become aware of the people looking over and dropped it.

She leaned over and whispered into your ear. "Fine. But this conversation is not over and I think you know that."

And if it had been an entirely different situation you would have found that very hot.

5 hours later

The plane was landing now, and you and Gracie hadn't spoken for almost 5 hours. You even skipped the bathroom because you didn't want to run into Lizzy again.

Gracie had looked over at you a few times, seeming unsure of what to say. You didn't know what to say either.

When the plane hit the ground, you were reaching for your carry on when someone called your name and touched your shoulder.

"Hey y/n, nice seeing you again. Maybe I'll see you around?" Lizzy said as she walked past your seat.

You pinched your nose, you knew Gracie's eyes were burning into your skull.

"Who was that?" the brunette asked as you rushed to pack up your things. Her voice seemed strained and confused.

"Old friend. Just saw her when I went to the bathroom before" you replied casually.

But this made the girl scoff as she stood up.

"Oh right. Weird I've never met her in my life"

"Gracie you don't know everyone I-"

"I'm going to go and find Olivia. You can tag along with Tate and Charlton through border control" the girl interrupted, walking past you and leaving you alone in the cabin.

You grabbed your carry on and slung it over your shoulder. How was this trip going so badly already.

"Hey, you okay?" Tate asked, tapping your shoulder.

You half smiled.

"Uh.. yeah Gracie just really needed to use the bathroom. Can I tag along with you guys?"

"Yeah sure" Charlton said, smiling sympathetically like he knew the real story.

"Of course you can" Tate said, slinging an arm around your neck as you all walked off the plane.
