After 2 hours of driving in almost awkward silence, you finally got to the airport. You got out quickly, heading over to the trunk to help Liv with the bags. You grabbed your bag and also pulled Gracie's out. But refused to look at her still as she walked over to the back.
She noticed your weird behavior but didn't question it. Instead, took her suitcase and guitar and made her way inside.
"What was that about? Please don't tell me you're still pissed with each other..." Liv groaned, pulling her backpack on. "It would really kill the vocation vibes"
"No- it's just awkward" you mumbled.
Liv raised an eyebrow. You knew you had to tell her now.
You sighed.
"Okay maybe when I got back in the car, I tripped and landed right on her lap" you muttered quietly.
"You what?" The girl shouted, laughing so loudly everyone walking by could hear.
"Liv shut up, it's not a moment I want to re-live" you said sternly.
"No- I'm sorry... but after everything you've done with each other you're concerned with accidentally sitting on her lap?"
You rolled your eyes.
"Well yeah, because she's in a pissy mood and it was awkward"
Liv shrugged, not really understanding the problem.
"Go catch up with her. I'll stay back here with the others and meet up with you past security" the girl said.
You were about to protest, but from the look on the girls face she wasn't taking no for an answer.
"Okay fine" you replied, grabbing your suitcase and backpack before making your way inside.
LAX was fucking big though. You had actually forgot how big it was from last year.
You'd never had trouble before with crowds, but something about this was making you feel uneasy. And you couldn't see Gracie anywhere.
You stopped at a bathroom and went inside to get yourself together. You were starting to feel very nauseous.
Shit was this an anxiety attack?
Your breathing increased, making your chest hurt.
You pulled out your phone to call Olivia, or just anyone. But there was no signal.
Luckily the bathroom was dead so you dropped your bags and sat down on the floor, forcing your head into your hands.
Why the fuck were you having an anxiety attack now. What had triggered this. Was it the crowds?
But you didn't have time to think before the door started to open. You got up quickly and faced towards the sinks, acting like you were just washing your hands. You'd had enough embarrassment today.
"Hey, is everything okay?"
It was Gracie.
"I saw you run in here"
