"Not again" Mikey was sighing as he layed down in bed beside Y/n.
"What's wrong?" she asked her lover.
"You know Hanagaki?" the white haired male started and Y/n nodded to let him know he can continue. "He's searching for me again."
"Why tho?" she asked as she started playing with Mikey's hair.
"Sanzu said his wife is pregnant and he wants to invite me to the baby shower" he answered.
"Then go."
"How? I'm a wanted criminal" he deadpanned at the girl.
"You can wear a mask" she said.
"It's still not safe" he shook his head.
"Do you not trust your friends?"
"I do, but I'm still a criminal. I don't think it would be a good idea to go."
"But you miss Hanagaki, don't you?" she asked in a quiet tone. "And you miss them all."
"That's not important" he answered.
"How about you invite Hanagaki over? Maybe if he sees that you're fine he can calm down and you can meet your dear friend again too" Y/n suggested.
"That's a bullshit idea."

And yet Mikey still did what his wife told him to do, he invited Takemichi but only if he promised he won't snitch, and knowing Takemichi he will keep that promise.
Right now Mikey was sitting on the couch, Takemichi not far from him in the armchair. Y/n wasn't home yet, and Takemichi didn't even know about her existence. But he did notice how much Mikey changed in two years.
He's already 30 years old, his eyebags are barely there anymore and he's not as pale and skinny anymore either. He's almost like how Takemichi imagined Mikey to be in a good timeline. Seeing that Mikey is better than how he was the last time made Takemichi feel relieved.
"You changed, Mikey" Takemichi awkwardly started.
"I did" Mikey gave Takemichi a little smile. "Good you didn't go back. I'm happy right now."
