The next day, I woke up early and double checked that I had everything. I wouldn't be coming back here, so It kinda made me sad leaving the place I've lived in for 9 years. But at the same time I was also excited, I get to live a new life and meet new people and do things I've been dreaming and hoping for for years. I've always wanted to be a hero and this is my chance now. I take one last look memorizing every nook and cranny of this room before turning around and leaving the place that housed me throughout my childhood.

When I got to the meet up point I was the first person there. Like even the commander wasn't there. So I sat on a bench and waited. 2 minutes pass and the commander and her kid i'm assuming showed up because he looked very similar with dirty blonde hair and emerald eyes and they showed up at the same time. I stood up quickly and turned my full attention to the commander. She looked at me oddly and said "Don't worry Aspen, you can sit. We don't know when the other recruitments will get here" I was very surprised by what she said and quickly sat back down. There was a awkward moment of silence before the other kid told me his name " I'm um hdheh" he mumbled something. "Sorry I didn't understand you? I'm Aspen by the way" The boy looked very surprised. I was confused about why everyone was surprised by me. I shook it off. Maybe I'm just imagining it. "Oh sorry, my names Green." The boy said. "Nice to meet you Green." We then sat there some more and waited for the other kids. The next person who came was a girl and her name was Gale. She was very nice and friendly. She was also very tall and had short black hair. The person after Gale was a girl I didn't see at orientation and I immediately hated. She had long blonde hair and brown eyes with gold flecks and had clearly put alot of work into her face. She carried no bags and had a butler carry her 16 bright pink bags. Basically super mega stereotype girl. She clearly got in with daddy's money and probably would not last long here. Super mega stereotype girl's name was Caitlyn and she said it in the most annoying voice ever. She looked down at us as if we were lowly devil spawn. I rolled my eyes at her and glared at her. She scoffed as if I had insulted the tiny dog she had brought with her. The commander clapped her hands together and announced that we were waiting for one more person. He showed up soon after apologizing for being late and gave the commander a movie star smile. She smiled and said that it was fine and some stuff but I wasn't listening because this boy was Wave Dunn, the most popular boy at my old school and possibly the person who bullied me the most.
