Chapter 1

This is the story of how I singlehandedly did some epic stuff, some dangerous stuff, and some scary stuff. I had some help. A lot of help. These things are mentally challenging ok?! Anyways, this story begins when my job started. Now you may be wondering, "What kind of 14 year old gets a job?" Super powerful ones do! I am in fact, a super powerful 14 year old. I have BOTH abilities, Shape shifting and Dimension runner. Which means I get to do missions by myself. The rest of this story starts with my past self so that you won't be TOO confused, this is a mystery after all. Anyways, let's start the story!!!

Glory, fame and more! These are the things you can experience at Space chickens! At least, that's what they say. I don't actually know if that's true. I've only heard the "Introduction To Shapeshifting Police Force" but before I begin to talk about S.C.P.C I should probably give some intros! Today is job day, when fourteen year olds get selected for their jobs, depending on their powers or strengths. Now, I’m super lucky because I have both shapeshifting AND portal travel. This means I can get a guaranteed spot in Space Chickens, the best job you can get. We capture evil people working with VVV or Very Vicious Vultures. It can be hard to find these people because, some good guys can be working with VVV, so it makes them harder to find, some even don’t know they are. That's the sad part. That's why at Space Chickens you are always taught villigance. Oh! I forgot to tell you my name. Sorry! My names Aspen the coolest person you will ever meet. But that's just my opinion, because I have no friends because of the scandal my family has 9 years ago. It's really sad honestly. 9 years ago my mom mysteriously left my family and disappeared, and no one knows where she is to this day. I, was at the humble age of five and my dad abandoned me because he had a better family to go to. I had no where to go so I went and lived at my school because my siblings were too busy to take care of me. So yeah! After that no one wanted to be friends with the girl whos parents abandoned her. I haven't been too bothered by this because I like to hang out with myself, but sometimes it gets lonely.

"All nominees line up please!" A booming voice announces. This is part of the introduction into Space Chickens ceremony. There were only 3 other people who passed all the tests. " I will be your commander, but only if you swear your life and time to Space Chickens." She then goes down the line of kids asking each to swear themselves to Space Chickens. " Do you, Nightingale Aspen Cornwall, agree to fight for Space Chickens even if it's resulting in death?" " Yes I do." I respond willing my voice not to quiver. Th commander nods and announces that we will be leaving for space chickens tomorrow morning and to be ready. She flashes away in a spark of light.
