"LOOK AT THAT," DEAN drawled, a note of thinly veiled mockery in his voice as his eyes fell upon the small cat bed under Evan's arm. "Isn't that just adorable?"
Evan shot him a sharp glance, a playful smile on her face as she threatened, "I will claw your eyes out." The words, despite their threatening nature, were said in such a light-hearted tone that Dean couldn't help but look to Sam for confirmation.
"Is she always this... spirited?" Dean questioned, a touch of amusement in his voice as he watched Sam toss their bags into the back of the car with practiced ease.
Evan herself answered Dean's question, her voice firm and unyielding as she retorted, "Only to assholes."
At this, Dean merely hummed in response, eyes scanning Evan up and down with a raised eyebrow as if seeing her in a new light. A low chuckle escaped his lips as he shook his head softly.
The corners of Evan's mouth tugged upwards into a soft smirk at his silence, before gracefully making her way into the backseat of the car, shutting the door securely behind her.

"Where's your collection?" Evan asked, her eyes sparking with curiosity as she leaned forward. Her chin found a comfortable spot nestled in between the broad shoulders of Sam and Dean.
"My what?" Dean's eyebrows furrowed in confusion, his gaze flickering briefly to meet Evan's in the rear-view mirror.
"Your collection," Evan patiently repeated her words, a playful tone colouring her voice. "You know, your tape collection. I'm guessing you have one because I noticed all the empty cassette tape cases scattered around back here." She shrugged nonchalantly, gesturing towards the backseat.
"Here." Sam responded, reaching back to hand Evan a box filled to the brim with cassette tapes.
"Damn," Evan muttered under her breath as she took the box from Sam. Her eyes widened in surprise as she sifted through the collection. "I don't even have this many."
"You listen to cassettes?" Dean asked, an eyebrow raised in surprise. He glanced at the woman through the rearview mirror, catching her nod and a small smile that tugged at the corners of her lips. "What do you listen to?"
"Mostly Aerosmith or Bon Jovi," Evan answered, handing the box back to Sam after she finished looking through the tapes. She paused for a moment before adding, "But Alan Jackson or Toby Keith are definitely up there too."
"Aerosmith?" Dean prodded, a hint of amusement in his voice.
"What can I say? The Lost Boys got me hooked on 'em," Evan confessed, a sheepish grin spreading across her face. This confession caused Sam to laugh lightly, the sound filling the car.
"She's not joking." Sam shook his head, the corners of his mouth still turned up in a grin. "She forces me and Jess to watch it with her."
"I don't force you to do anything!" Evan retorted with a playful slap to Sam's shoulder. "Though I did force him, Luis, Jess, and my ex-girlfriend to dress as the vampire squad."
"Oh my god!" Sam laughed even harder. "I forgot about that!" The car was filled with the sound of Evan and Sam's laughter, while Dean's eyebrows furrowed in confusion.
"Girlfriend?" Dean questioned, his voice filled with surprise, causing Evan to nod.
"Bisexual. I go both ways." Evan smirked, a hint of mischief glinting in her eyes. "So don't worry, babe." Evan reached her hand forward and patted Dean's cheek with a teasing smile. "You still got a chance to win me over."
