----The Next Day----

*DING DONG!*

K: We did it again!!

Kate and Peter rushed out of bed, screaming on their way downstairs to wake everyone else up.

When they made it to the van, Kate counted the tickets and the kids.

K: 8...9...10...

M(egan): How come none of us are sitting together?

K: At this time a year, we're lucky to get on the same plane. 11...12...13....?

Kate stared down at her ticket and Kevin's ticket. She froze.

K: Where's Kevin?

Buzz's hand reached out from behind her and took Kevin's ticket. She looked back as Buzz handed the ticket to Kevin.

'14.'

"It's a good thing that I have my own ticket just incase you guys try to ditch me."

Kate turned back around and sighed in relief. As the van started and drove off, Kevin gently leaned his head against Buzz's arm and closed his eyes. Buzz noticed and scootched a bit to make it less obvious Kevin was on him while also making it comfortable for him.

----At the Airport----

The McCallister family was rushing to get to their gate when Buzz realized that he didn't see Kevin. He quickly glanced behind him and saw Kevin bump into someone, causing him to lose track of them. Buzz slowed down to the back of the group before running over to Kevin and grabbing his hand. He then, with Kevin getting back on his feet, ran in the direction of their father while yelling out to him. Buzz ran into the lady who was closing up the boarding session, causing her, Buzz, and Kevin to drop their tickets.

'Crap! I'm sorry!'

TC/Ticket Collector: That's alright. Are you two on this flight?

'Yeah, so is our family. They are already on the plane and we don't want to be left behind.'

TC: Do you two have a boarding pass?

"It's somewhere..."

Kevin and Buzz scanned through the pile as a staff member approached them.

SM/Staff Member: We have to close up, they are ready to go.

TC: These two dropped their boarding passes.

"This plane can't leave! This happened to us last year and it wrecked our Christmas!"

SM: And you're sure your family's on this flight?

'Yeah. Our dad ran in here right before we bumped into this lady.'

The Staff Member contemplated for a moment before turning to the Ticket Collector.

SM: Okay- Board them. But make sure they locate their family before you leave them.

TC nodded and guided the two onto the plane.

TC: Do you see your family?

Buzz and Kevin looked around before Kevin pointed their dad out.

"There's our dad over there!"

TC: Okay, now you two go find an empty seat. Have a Merry Christmas.

"You too!"

'You too.'

Buzz and Kevin went to find an empty seat as the TC got off the plane. Buzz sat in a window seat while Kevin sat in an aisle seat. Kevin pulled out his Talkboy and Buzz pulled out his own Talkboy. Kevin raised an eyebrow.
