VIII - Two Against Two

H: Marv, Marv! Come on, let's go!

It was midnight exactly and Harry and Marv were hiding inside two play houses inside of Duncan's Toy Chest. They both exited the toy houses and went downstairs to the register.

H: Marv?

Marv turned to look at him.

H: Crowbars up!

The two clanked their crowbars before they started to break open the chest and register to take it's money.

H: Merry Christmas, Harry.

M: Happy Hanukkah, Marv!

They both eagerly started robbing the register and chest of it's money.

Kevin and Buzz walked past Duncan's Toy Chest. Kevin quickly stopped Buzz, both boys looking up at the toy store. Kevin smirked at Buzz, who smirked at him. They both went back over to the window of Duncan's Toy Chest and saw the two robbing the place. Kevin quickly put a bucket and a wooden plank on the ground. Buzz handed him a rock and Kevin placed it on a random side. Buzz then moved out of the view of the mirror and Kevin looked through.

M: We're fugitives! We're wrapping our elbows in cash, and there's nobody that even knows about it!

*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK!!*

Marv and Harry looked up and saw Kevin by the window, waving with a camera in hand. He took a picture of them before stepping back and pulling out a rock with a note attached that he had wrote while in the orchestra room.

"This is it. No turning back."

'Another Christmas in the trenches.'

Kevin smiled before quickly throwing the rock at the window, causing it to shatter and set off the alarm. Buzz ran straight to the uncle Rob's to quickly make sure everything was in order and also to not be seen. Kevin stuck by with his camera as he watched the two criminals. Harry jumped out onto the wooden plank and immediately froze as he realized what was happening. Marv quickly jumped onto the other side of the plank. As the rock flew up and quickly hit Marv in the groin, Harry went flying and ended up landing on a car. Marv quickly got up after recovering from the pain to check on his partner.

"Hey guys! Smile!"

Kevin quickly took a picture of them after Marv was dumb enough to smile and pose. Kevin then quickly ran the way to Rob's house as Harry and Marv desperately tried to go after them.

"I'm up here! Come and get me!"

Kevin and Buzz both met on the rooftop of Rob's house. Buzz was out of site from the two burglars down there while Kevin was hanging over the edge, looking down at them. He took another picture of them and then set his camera aside.

M: Let's kill!

Harry held Marv back.

H: Hold on, pea-brain. We got busted last time because we underestimated that little bundle of misery. 

M: This ain't like the last time! This ain't this house, the kid ran in scared!  He ain't got a plan! He's got no one with him!

Harry felt that pang again. Every time Kevin is mentioned to be alone, Harry has a pang of a bad feeling. He knows he's not alone. He's knows someone's with him. The only thing Harry doesn't know is who he's with. He shook his head, pushing the feeling aside.
