Jungkook sat at his desk, the case file of Minatozaki Sana spread out before him. He meticulously reviewed every detail her parents had provided. Sana, twenty-three, a bright and diligent university graduate working at a local café. Her family described her as intelligent, responsible, and generally happy, with no history of running away.
As he scanned through the file, an idea struck him. There might be more clues in her personal space. He decided to request permission to search the Minatozaki household for any additional information. After a brief phone call to Mr. and Mrs. Minatozaki, they agreed to let him search Sana's room.
Arriving at the Minatozaki residence, Jungkook was greeted by her worried parents. They led him to Sana's room, a neat and cozy space filled with personal mementos. Jungkook began his search, carefully sifting through her belongings. Books, photographs, and trinkets filled the shelves, but nothing seemed out of the ordinary.
Just as he was about to give up, he noticed a small compartment in her desk. It was cleverly concealed, almost invisible to the untrained eye. He pried it open and discovered a folded letter inside.
Unfolding the letter, Jungkook read Sana's words:
"Dear Mom and Dad,
I can't take it anymore. The constant disapproval of my relationship is tearing me apart. I love him, and I can't live under the strain of your judgment. By the time you read this, I will be gone. Please try to understand.
Sana"
Jungkook furrowed his brow. Something about the letter felt off. From everything he had learned about Sana, she was a smart, articulate young woman. This letter seemed hasty and uncharacteristically emotional. It felt almost staged.
He decided to take the letter back to the station and discuss his findings with Officer Yansuk.
Yansuk listened intently as Jungkook presented the letter and shared his suspicions. "Sir, something about this letter doesn't add up. Sana is intelligent and composed. This letter feels rushed and unlike her."
Yansuk examined the letter, his expression thoughtful. "You might be onto something, Jungkook. This case is more complex than it appears. We need to dig deeper."
Jungkook nodded, feeling a mix of excitement and unease. He knew they were just scratching the surface of a much deeper mystery.
