The results of the investigation hit Jungkook like a heavy blow. The search of Taehyung's workplace revealed signs of a struggle—bloodstains and a broken wall—but forensic analysis confirmed the blood wasn't Sana's. Taehyung's phone records placed him nowhere near the riverside on the night of the murder.

Frustration and disappointment gnawed at Jungkook as he sat in his office, reviewing Taehyung's call logs meticulously. He muttered to himself, "No calls to or from Sana in years... This doesn't add up."

His phone buzzed with updates from his team, confirming that the woman who had come forward with damning testimony against Taehyung had been found to be lying. She had fabricated the entire story out of revenge after Taehyung betrayed her in a financial deal.

Enraged by the manipulation that had derailed the investigation, Jungkook slammed his fist on the desk. "Dammit! We've been chasing shadows."

One of his team members entered the office cautiously. "Sir, we have Taehyung in custody. He denies any involvement in Sana's disappearance or murder."

Jungkook sighed heavily, running a hand through his hair. "Bring him in for questioning again. We need to get to the bottom of this."

In the interrogation room, Taehyung sat with a mixture of defiance and anxiety. "I've already told you everything," he insisted, his voice tinged with frustration. "I had nothing to do with Sana's death. You have no proof."

Jungkook leaned forward, his expression stern. "We found evidence of a struggle at your workshop, Taehyung. Blood and a broken wall. Care to explain that?"

Taehyung's eyes flickered with uncertainty, but he maintained his denial. "It wasn't Sana's blood," he stated firmly. "And I have no idea how that wall got broken. Maybe it was an accident."

Jungkook pressed on, his patience wearing thin. "Your phone records place you nowhere near the riverside where Sana's body was found. How do you explain that?"

Taehyung hesitated, his facade cracking slightly. "I... I don't know," he stammered, his voice betraying his unease.

"It's time to come clean, Taehyung," Jungkook urged, his tone firm. "We know about your other activities. What are you hiding?"

Taehyung remained silent for a moment, weighing his options. "I swear, I didn't kill Sana," he finally said, his voice pleading. "I don't know who did, but it wasn't me."

Jungkook stared at him intently, searching for any sign of deception. Despite his doubts, he knew they needed solid evidence to proceed. As he left the interrogation room, Jungkook's mind raced with possibilities. The road ahead was uncertain, but he was determined to uncover the truth and bring justice for Sana, no matter how elusive it seemed.
