As the interrogation with Minghao continued, Jungkook's phone buzzed urgently on the table. He glanced at the screen and saw a message from Officer Yansuk. "Jungkook, there's been a development. A woman's body was found. She appears to be in her twenties. Get to the site immediately."

Jungkook felt a chill run down his spine. He halted the interrogation abruptly, his mind racing. "We'll continue this later, Minghao," he said curtly, exiting the room.

The drive to the site felt interminable. Jungkook's thoughts were a jumble of worry and dread. When he arrived, he saw the familiar flashes of police lights and the somber faces of his colleagues. The crime scene was cordoned off, and a small crowd had already gathered at a distance, murmuring among themselves.

Officer Yansuk met him at the perimeter, his expression grave. "It's not a pretty sight, Jungkook. The body's in bad shape, unrecognizable. But we need to investigate every possibility."

Jungkook nodded, steeling himself for what he was about to see. He ducked under the yellow tape and approached the body, which lay partially covered by a tarp. The forensic team was already at work, taking samples and photographs.

As the tarp was lifted, Jungkook's stomach churned. The woman's body was indeed unrecognizable, marred by the elements and time. Her clothes were torn, and her features were distorted beyond recognition. But there was something familiar about the shape of her frame, the remnants of her clothing that made his heart sink.

"Any identification?" Jungkook asked, his voice steadier than he felt.

"None so far," a forensic officer replied. "We'll need dental records or DNA to make a positive ID."

Jungkook's mind raced back to Sana. Could this be her? He didn't want to jump to conclusions, but the sinking feeling in his stomach told him that this might be connected to his case. He pulled out his phone and called Yansuk, who had stepped away to coordinate with the other officers.

"Sir, we need to get Sana's dental records and DNA samples from her family," Jungkook said urgently. "There's a chance this could be her."

Yansuk agreed and made the necessary arrangements. Jungkook stayed at the scene, observing every detail, looking for anything that might offer a clue. He couldn't shake the feeling that time was running out, that he was on the brink of uncovering something significant.

As the day turned to night, Jungkook remained at the site, his mind replaying everything he had learned so far. The hidden letter, Minghao's odd behavior, and now this body—all pieces of a puzzle that was slowly coming together.

He knew he had to stay focused, to follow every lead and intuition. This case was far from over, and Jungkook was determined to find the truth, no matter where it led him.
