The best breakfast made with love

Averys PoV

I woke up early in the morning to someone softly rubbing my back. "Hey Avery! How did you sleep?". I turned around and saw Ezra standing up smiling at me.

I just mumbled out a "good" before getting up from the comfort of my blanket and sat on the edge of the bed. I didn't notice my head was resting on Ezra's shoulder.

I could feel him grinning but I didn't pay much attention to that because I was still tired.

"You're still tired huh Bub?" Ezra said. Placing his other hand on my head.

We stayed in this position for about 10 minutes before Ezra decided it was time for me to take a bath. I went into the bathroom and Ezra brought me more of Jake's old clothes to wear.

He told me he was going to wait for me because I don't know my way around the house yet. Anyways, I stripped my clothes and hopped in the shower.

The Luke warm water running down my cold skin was just enough to make me shiver. After shampooing myself I stepped out of the shower and wiped myself using the same towel as yesterday and put on the clothes Ezra gave me which smelled like marshmallows.

I went out to find Ezra. he held my hand and brought me into the kitchen downstairs to eat breakfast. I saw Silas and he smiled at me made me blush. I tried hiding behind Ezra but Silas came over here and took my hand away from Ezra's.

"Hey!" Ezra whined. "You basically stolen Avery away from me!"

"Haha, it's not my fault he's so adorable!" Silas said pinching my cheeks softly.

Ezra just sighed and walked away to find Jake and Cason in the living room.

"So Avery. Are you hungry?" Silas asked me. "Um. Yes." I replied.

He told me to sit here while he cooked something up for me to eat. He cooked some pancakes and placed it in a plate before bringing it to me.

"This is my special fluffy raspberry chocolate pancakes! It's just the original recipe but I made it with actual love!" Silas said feeding me a small piece of pancakes.

Im not gonna lie it tasted really really yummy! He fed me another piece of heaven and I gratefully accepted it.  After I finished eating he asked me if I wanted to watch a movie with Ezra and Jake.

I nodded my head and he took me to the living room where Cason was seen sitting on the dark green couch reading a book. Ezra and Jake were lying down on the fuzzy brown carpet playing their phone. And Tyson. Who was looking for something. I hid behind Silas because I was scared of Tyson.

Silas must've knew because the next thing he did was to put his arms around my shoulder and push my head into his stomach. I don't know why but I felt comfortable around Silas more than the others. Maybe because he was sweet and caring and funny and protective. Or you could just say. All of those combined.

"Maybe we should just go to the cinema hmm?" He said. Turning around and going up the stairs. He picked me up and carried me into the cinema room. Placing me down on the leather couch I sat on last night. He grabbed 2 blankets and a bucket of popcorn before sitting down next to me.

"So What movie do you wanna watch bub?" He asked me. Looking around at the kids section.

"Um. How about that one Silas?" I said. Pointing at cars 3.

He clicked on it and the lights dimmed before the movie started playing. I moved closer to Silas and he wrapped an arm around me. So I laid my head on his arm and watched the movie while eating popcorns. After a while I started feeling very tired so I decided to just sleep because it was too comfortable here.
