Averys pov
The lights were back on after a few minutes along with some sigh of relief from Ezra and Jake. I was still giggling like crazy watching them blaming each other for ruining their hairs. Jake was basically throwing a full on baby tantrum on Ezra when Silas walked in to check on us.
"Avery are you okay?" He asked with worried eyes. Completely ignoring the fact that Ezra and Jake were about to tear each other's hair out. I nodded my head and Silas gave me a quick hug and a kiss on the cheek before breaking both of them up.
After he settled those two, he held my hand and brought me to ace's office, where ace was sitting down behind the desk facing tyson. Silas whispered something in his ear before patting my hair and sliding out the door.
"Come here Avery." Ace said patting on his lap. I hesitated for a moment before he pulled me up and sat me on his lap. "Now, apologies for how you treated Avery during dinner." He looked at Tyson. Still clearly mad about how Tyson treated me.
"I'm sorry that I was rude to you. But you were being a bitch anyways" Tyson said coldly while staring at ace right in the eye.
"Tyson. I am giving you a warning to take that back and apologise for real." He said calmly.
"Fuck you." Tyson spit out.
"I told you to APOLOGISE TO AVERY! WHY WONT YOU JUST FUCKING LISTEN? HE'S BEEN THROUGH ENOUGH OF SUFFERING AND YOU STILL TREAT HIM LIKE SHIT!" Ace blared out. Slamming his fists on the desk.
"SO WHAT? IS IT NOW MY FAULT HE GOT KIDNAPPED AND ABUSED? YOU WERE THE ONE WHO WAS SUPPOSED TO WATCH HIM! Tyson blared back. Clearly more angry than before.
"AND NOW YOU DECIDED TO YELL AT ME? YOU ARE GETTING GROUNDED FOR A WHOLE YEAR! NO DEVICES, NO GOING OUT AND YOU'LL BE GETTING FUCKING ENTRA CHORES UNTIL YOU APOLOGISE TO AVERY!" Ace shouted back. I could feel the vibrations on his chest when he shouted.
"NAHH SINCE WHEN DO WE NEED TO DO CHORES? WE LITERALLY HAVE MAIDS! YOU KNOW WHAT? FUCK YOU!" Tyson screamed and stomped out the room. Making sure to slam the door as hard as possible.
By now I was silently crying and hiccuping uncontrollably until ace looked down and immediately started hugging me tightly. "I'm sorry I scared you Avery. I shouldn't have shouted." He said. Slowly stroking my hair.
Silas barged into the room and quickly picked me up and hugged me. "Awww. Are you okay baby? You must be so scared right now." He said. Wiping a tear off my cheek.
He gave ace a quick death glare before carrying me up stairs to my room. He laid me down on the bed and sat on the side of it. Slowly patting my hair while whispering sweet nothings.
I closed my eyes and tried to not think of anything else except the comfort Silas was giving me. I snuggled into the blankets before letting the horrible darkness take me away.
