Jake's Pov:
After watching a few episodes of glorious SpongeBob. Avery laid his head down on my shoulder. "Are you tired Avery? Wanna go sleepy?" I asked him in a cooing voice.
He shook his head lightly and told me he wanted to use the restroom. Even though he knew exactly where the bathroom was he still wanted to me follow him... so I did.
We walked a whole minute just to arrive at the toilet downstairs and i let Avery do his business before we walked ANOTHER WHOLE MINUTE back to the living room.
By now the sun was starting to set and it was almost time for dinner. I also heard that ace prepared a little speech for us all.
Aaaannnyways. I was already hungry so I brought Avery with me to the dinner table and we both sat there waiting for the food while watching YouTube. (Family friendly of course.)
Soon. The food arrived, followed by a hungry, blood thirsty, soul sucking Ezra. Who quickly sat down with his utensils on the ready.
Averys pov
Everyone dug in right away while Jake helped me fill my plate. The food looks so delicious but only the taste matters. I tried one of the stuffed sweet potatoes and fell in love. Jake must've saw my face because another one appeared on my plate. "Jeez Avery. Eat slower." Cason laughed. I smiled embarrassingly and ate slower.
While I was about to drink my water, ace stood up and started speaking. " now I know this is sudden. But I have something to tell you all. We'll be going on a family vacation tomorrow morning." "wait really?!?!?" Jake said, like he didn't already know. "Yes. Really. Now I'm not going to tell the location that we're heading to because it's meant to be a surprise."
"Wow.. ace throwing a surprise vacation? That's rare... really rare." Tyson said. Ezra agreeing with him. Ace smiled and continued speaking. " I figured that little Avery here hasn't been on a vacation yet. So I decided that now was a good time for a family vacation. But..."
"I knew there was a catch.." Tyson sighed. "I need you guys to take good care of Avery while on vacation. Help him get ready for tomorrow. Pack his bags for him. And make sure to bring his supplies. And you all need to sleep early tonight because we'll be leaving first thing in the morning."
"That's the catch?" Tyson said. Shocked. "Yes. That's the catch. Take care of your little brother. That's all I'm asking." "Ace. You know that you're asking us to do something that we're already doing. Right?" Jake said.
Ace didn't say anything and just smiled. "My baby brothers are all grown up."
Sorry it took so long guys. I kinda forgotten about this again lol. But I think I'll be writing tomorrow.
