Nightmare of a dinner ( part 1)

Averys pov:

I woke up to someone softly stroking my hair, I whined a little bit and opened my eyes to see Jake! "Hey buddy. Dinners ready now, you wanna come?" He asked me. His hands now patting my head.

"Yea." I mumbled out softly. Still half asleep. Jake chuckled a bit. "Hey avery, Do you want me to carry you down?" He asked me. "Mhm." I mumbled out, laying my head on his shoulder.

I felt him smile a bit as he carried me down the stairs and into the dining room where the rest of my Brothers are at.

They all smiled and greeted me while Jake set me down on my feet again. "Come sit here Avery" ace told me.

I walked over to the empty chair that ace was patting at and hopped on it. I was sitting between ace and Ezra!

Ezra was pilling so much new food on my plate I started getting nervous. what would happen when I can't finish it? Will they hit me? Or will they take away my bed? I hope it's not the bed....

"Avery. Why aren't you eating?" Cason asked me. Looking at my untouched plate still filled to the brim with food.

"Oh. Um I forgot." I whispered out. "Sorry"

"Fucking attention seeker." Tyson mumbled out.

"Tyson. If you're just going to talk shit then you might as well leave." Ace said out loud. Raising his voice after every word.

I sinked deeper into my seat as they continued yelling at each other. Silas must have noticed my scared expression because he sent ace a signal to stop.

Ace gave me an apologetic look and sent Tyson to his room not long after asking Tyson to meet him at his office later.

Ezra started feeding me but I jumped in surprise because I was looking at somewhere else, he giggled a bit and told me to just open my mouth.

He gently fed me the food as I chewed on it. It was so tasty I accidentally mumbled out a "yummy.". And of course they all laughed at me again.

I don't know why but when they speak to me their voice changed into a softer tone.

After dinner ace told Ezra and Jake to show me around the mansion while he was went to his office to wait for Tyson.

"Let's go explore the wonders of this... uh.. mansion together buddy!" Jake yelled out while doing the most random pose ever.

I softly laughed at him which made him awe at me, ezra and Jake took me around the whole mansion until my legs were tired!

They showed me the last part of the mansion which was a cinema. It was soooooo beautiful!

"Wanna watch a movie buddy?" Ezra asked me.

"U-umm. Okay!" I said. Smiling at him. He grabbed my hand making me flinch on the sudden contact. "Opps! Sorry Avery!"

"U-um... I-it's okay!" I said, feeling bad for making him apologise to me even though it was my fault for being so flinchy

He smiled at me softly and this time. Slowly carried me up and onto the white leather couch.

Jake brought some popcorn and sat down on my other side, "wanna try some popcorn Avery?" He said. Handing me the whole bucket in his hand.

"Oh. Okay." I said picking one out from the bucket. I ate the popcorn and it was like heaven ran me over using a car! I instantly grabbed a few more out from the bucket and ate them one by one.

"Woah! Slow down kiddo!" Jake laughed as I took the whole bucket and was basically shoving my whole face in it until Ezra called me.

"What movie do you wa- right when I said that the whole room went dark.

"It's okay Avery! We're here to protect you!" Jake shouted out as he quickly shifted his position onto Ezra's lap.

Ezra clinged onto jake with one hand and with the other hand he dragged me closer to him. "It's okay Avery. We're here just like Jake said!" We will uh protect you!"

I laughed at how funny they are being. I wasn't scared of the dark because I basically lived in the dark for a long time since he trapped me in the basement with no lights.
