A new day had started at dawn as Prince Zuko's ship sailed through the waters at high speed. Inside his room, the prince was sitting in front of a table with four candles, meditating peacefully. Each time Zuko took a breath, the candles would steadily increase and decrease in time with the prince's relaxed inhalations and exhalations. He kept taking slow and steady breaths as he breathed in and out, while the four candles continued brightening and dimming.
Then suddenly, Iroh opened the door and peeked through, interrupting his nephew's meditation.
"The only reason you should be interrupting me is if you have news about the Avatar and the lizard monster." Zuko said to his uncle in a calm tone.
Iroh pushed the door completely open before he entered the room while holding a rolled-up scroll in his hands.
"Well, there is news, Prince Zuko. But you might not like it." The retired general informed his nephew, "Don't get too upset."
Surprisingly, Zuko was still calm as he replied, "Uncle, you taught me that keeping a level head is a sign of a great leader. Now, whatever you have to say, I'm sure I can take it."
"Okay then." Iroh responded with a hint of hesitation before he revealed the news to his nephew...
A really bad one, that is.
"We have no idea where they are."
The flames of the candles suddenly erupted in a fiery mass as Zuko looked enraged; his calm demeanor had changed back to his usual short-tempered personality.
"What?!" The prince questioned his uncle angrily as he rose up to his feet, while Iroh shielded his face from the flames before withdrawing a fan from his robe and began waving it to cool himself down.
"You really should open a window in here." Iroh said as he kept fanning himself.
"Give me the map!" The scarred teen abruptly snatched the scroll from his uncle's hand as he unrolled it, scanning over the possible sightings.
"Well, there have been multiple sightings of the Avatar, along with the creature. But they are impossible to track down." Iroh explained to his nephew.
"How am I going to find them, Uncle?" Zuko asked desperately as he continued looking at the map, "The Avatar is clearly a master of evasive maneuvering. Not to mention, the monster didn't have wings to fly like the dragons, even though it could breathe fire like one."
This search was getting much harder for the banished prince to find the Avatar and the King of the Monsters across the world.
(SCENE CHANGE)
LOCATION: South Sea
Somewhere in the South Sea, the group of four was just flying to wherever Aang had them going. The two siblings were riding on Appa's saddle, with the airbender sitting atop his head, while Godzilla was still being carried by the flying bison's legs as usual.
"You have no idea where you're going, do you?" Sokka questioned the Avatar's navigational skills while holding a map that looked less tracked than the one from Zuko.
"Well..." Aang turned back to the teen and told him with a happy tone, "I know it's near water."
However, it revealed that they were just flying across the open ocean... with no hints of where they were actually going at all.
Sokka then replied sarcastically, "I guess we're getting close then."
Meanwhile, Katara was sewing a hole in Sokka's pants while Aang glanced over at her from atop Appa's head, with Momo perched on his shoulder.
